Has anyone here actually made a profit with nfts in a non-ironic, non-meme way before or not?

I never tried but the only feasible way to profit from NTFs is probably through those horse racing games. If your horse is from an early gen and performs well, you could theoretically sell it for more

For me it seems that every single nft that ive join into ends up dropping to the underworld. so im not sure anymore about it.

I made profits from NFTs less than the number of times that I can count with two hands, its not much but its something, what I don't understand is how can there be people that sold their entire collection multiple times worth with 1 or 2 only, wish it was me, I made a few couple hundred and they made thousands

The most popular is zed.run where some horses are worth 6 figures but there are a bunch of competitors.
The most promising competitor is called Silks which works slightly different. Your horse NFT is tied to a real horse irl and it keeps tracking its performance and other stats.

well it seems you have had quite luck on it, after getting in more than 10k ive just got like 5% of earnings around a year, not mutch, i couldve made more in the same given time but... it is what it is.

Nice, lately my NFT sneakers in StepN had gone down a lot meaning I had to burn them so the price and performance would stay somewhat the same, still GMT is recovering so its not that bad

I supported Lovelace and Lovelace's affiliated NFT projects, and I can say, everything is going pretty well, and I can say that I'm making it this year because of Lovelace

In Silks, yes. If the irl horse performs well irl, you get paid some tokens.
In Zed.run, your horse is just a virtual horse with stats and it's not tied to any irl horse. The other horse racing games are like zed.run afaik. That's why Silks seems promising since I like horse racing but I will wait to see if it's not a scam.
