I am although in my country it's a bullshit business for a plethora of reasons.
Party is good, free booze, I get paid and I usually can get the phone number of any qt by doing some eye contact while DJing and aproaching her afterwards.
I also DJ in vinyl so CDJs are ez pz and kind of boring but no one cares to mantain their fucking technics so I don't bother to use records unless I bring my own equipment.
You'll earn shit while you see way less talented or interesting people that don't give a shit about music (aka everything they play is downloaded in converted 320kps and haven't spent a single cent in supporting the artists they mix) be successful because they're more connected and they have a bullshit persona they've created.
