Another really good trade right now is $XXII, the wave 4 correction ABCDE contracting triangle hasn't completed yet but once the D + E is completed then $XXII becomes a pretty easy and nearly guaranteed rise to at least $3.21-$3.24 within a few days, tops.

I sold Lithium Americas at a slight loss (hundred bucks) because it was starting to show signs, to me, of slow bleed that could easily turn in to a gusher of red. Today's trading indicates I was right at least in the short term. Fucking thing, my medium cap """"safe"""" hedge stock just lost another 7% today. I guess I got out by the skin of my teeth on this as that -7% = about $3k. Whew!

Anyway, part two of the play yesterday was to hop on board a pharmaceutical stock that had lost 17% the day before; Abbatis Bioceuticals Corp (ATT). Up 12% today and has formed stair 2 of a stairway pattern upwards. I have decided, based on that movement, to hold on until at least Monday with this. I think it's gearing up to fly.

The Lithium Americas chart was a pretty obvious read. Pic related. Now, a stock going down isn't an immediate sell if you're swing trading or long holding, however a pattern like this is a bad thing to see. Ordinarily a stock that will shortly bounce and start going back up will show a lot of volatility with sharp spikes up and down during the downward trend portion on the 5day/weekly scale. When it's a smooth hill like this that with no fight against the downward slope, bad news bears.

However, LAC is still a hot commodity and has brought in heavy volume before. I will be monitoring it in future to see if it finds a stable floor before making another run up like last month.

I see PYDS MARA SCC and PIXY for next week.

Looks like a hold to me. The downturn on tech stocks is almost certainly temporary. The people running the ETF will also make adjustments to the holdings they have and the ratio of each going forward.

I'm no expert though. I just do this as a hobby and secondary source of income. Not a pro trader by any stretch.

Thanks and I was wondering if you have more insight or experience on ETFs. Was attempting to deploy an ETF strat this year, however, I overlooked the issue of dividend payouts. While on TDAmer & Finnviz, I did not see word of div payouts on $EMF (templeton emerging markets fund) and yesterday I found out the hard way. I learned now to just head straight to the fund page and look for historic divs, or press releases. I noticed the same also happened to SPXL yesterday too.

What usually happens in these scenarios. The fund will continue to mostly (in theory) follow the matching index trend, only, lower? Thanks for the insight!
