There are many ways to make wealth. The most common ones are through strong family units where you pool resources through generations, marry other people of high status to retain wealth. Most stupid people can't do that since they're selfish and only care about short term results.
Outside of that you're basically relying on being highly talented at something.

Connections and luck.

There have been plenty of studies done about this that you can go watch on YouTube OP.

They've found that a literal genius (like 140 IQ) born into a poor family with no connections or access to better forms of education, will do worse in life than a literal <90 IQ retard that has rich parents and has access to top universities and connections to other rich people.

Obviously, it's not the case 100% of the time. But, it's been studied quite a bit and the results are clear.

Also, genetics is most likely only 50% of a person's ability to become rich at most. Because, then you'd have to explain to me how Ben Carson became a brain surgeon when he grew up in a family without a father and a mother who literally couldn't even read, or how a literal retard can become rich by just posting random asinine shit on TikTok or YouTube, when they don't even have a clue what they're even talking about.

Yes, it’s genetic/memetic. A lot of poor people might wish to be wealthy, but that’s really just a spook for them. Like when Anon thinks he wants gf but is actually afraid of women.

It’s not a defect, though. You have a comfortable life in the West being poor. And if real social unrest comes, the (relatively) wealthy WILL end up on the chopping block. Like what you had in Sri Lanka recently. Strength is in numbers, while every richman is alone, just one betrayal away from getting murdered by his own henchmen.

They are separated by whether or not they feel rich or poor
A poor person who feels will spend all their money until they either go broke or barely stop to still remain poor
A rich person will feel like a poor person all the time, always thinking about ways to make more money and accumulate more wealth and especially preserving their wealth so that they can starve of their feeling of being poor, and in order to distance themselves from the chance of ever becoming poor
it's a endless cycle either way, and you can either be in on cycle or the other, the choice is yours

Good question, i think it's about what you want and feel you need, if you want to become rich and you have the willpower you can almost certainly be sure that you will never stop until that feeling is satiated (never). Whether you actually get there is a different story tho and you can be sure as hell because it depends on luck and other factors
Furthermore, i think right now we are in a period of history that defines which families will be poor or rich because crypto just made another big and easy way for people to suddenly become rich. Twenty years ago people couldn't become rich by just investing in shinja and making millions in a year, now is the chance. The question should be "are you ready to take it?"

What if his dad was a genius who just didn't want kids? If anything growing up in that environment and succeeding anyway would be evidence for more genetic involvement.
Besides, genetics is more complex than smart mum + smart dad = smart kid. There are probably thousands of genes involved in intelligence and they interact with one another. Some genes only increase intelligence in the presence of other genes, some provide stacking bonuses and some are debuffs. So it could be that both parents contributed some of the genes Carson needed.

I imported 500k worth of golf carts last month, I have 2 goyim assemble them and slap my silly brand name onto the front bumper and the entire inventory was sold to just two different golf cart stores 2 states away from me. My entire golf cart inventory is sold before the ship even gets to the port. Effectively, I make about 3 phone calls and pay some kids fresh out of highschool some baby bucks. This is not hard, at all. The hardest part is when I have to switch chinese manufactuerers because they always drop everything they're doing for bigger fish. >poor people have to think about it short-term because they have no choice
That's not true. You can get a minimum wage job and save money if you are single. If your area does not have employment opportunities, one-way plane tickets are <$100 to most major airports.

That being said, you can qualify for jobs in high demand that pay $20-25 by getting certifications that take less than a weekend of actual work.

Poor people make excuses because they are lazy fucks unwilling to change their environment and habits. It's easy as fuck to be financially secure in the United States. You can drop everything you are doing, move to a new area with zero connections, and be making $20+/hr within a month if you have over 90 IQ.

I think this is it. It makes the most sense. Rich people are terrified of losing money and so they do whatever they can to get away form that. They are like dragons hoarding massive mountains of gold, scared to waste even just a single coin. Poor people when they come into a lot of money always increase their spending because they feel rich, which ironically makes them become poor again.

Unironically this; with the least bit of effort you can get to "comfortable" level wealth of basic savings, own a place, have retirement account. Anyone who doesn't achieve this is due to their own choices. You can literally stumble your way into this lifestyle in any medium sized US city

He's a prototypical 120 IQ sperg that did well in public school but didn't post outsized result due to social issues. He grew up "smart" enough to where he could claim a study occured and people would not contest it, so he repeats the behavior on this board.

Even if such a study existed it would be invalid. The sample size of low IQ Ivies is so small and so well entrenched in high society that your sampling can't be random.

The kernel of truth is that you're better off getting B's in university while binge drinking with rich kids than you are studying for the A. Fashionable clothes and consumer bullshit can unironically be an excellent investment for a university student.

Also want to say that nepotism is entirely rational. Most jobs don't require world class skill and most of the time being good just means you get the job done faster (then sit idle the rest of the day). If the job gets done all the same then I would rather hire the guy I know and can trust than a random.

In a word: opportunity. They have been given the opportunity to succeed better than others; be it education, wealthy connections, nepotism, being in the right place at the right time.
Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers is a good read on this topic regarding Bill Gates. Gates was on the absolute cutting edge of access to computer technology from his youth when he was living in a home within walking distance of the most modern supercomputers invented yet.
You can be the world's most intelligent man but not be wealthy. Chris Langan, also in Outliers, is an example of that. He's just a rancher in the middle of nowhere right now

Definitely access to wider connections dug into their respective industries like a fat tick on a dog. Not downplaying being active and trying because thats important too, but do you really think all those guys who made it big off insider trading, knowing when exactly to sell/buy stocks because of pre planned events, and generally getting into any position of power did so just because they grinded, or more because they had friends/family in high places who let them in? Hell just look at Bill Gates, he went to a top of the line high school that had access to some of the most powerful and exclusive computers of his time. Its no surprise he would go on to develop a company like Microsoft, especially with all the general wealth and access his family had. It’s literally the ability to think long term. If you start saving/investing 10% of your paycheck when you first get a job, it’s easy to carry that on forever and eventually save even more when you make more.
Most poor people literally can’t do that. They can’t think in terms of saving for the future, which is why they spend money on dumb shit (cars, rims, sneakers, etc.)
They live in this bizzaro fantasy world where the person you are tomorrow is literally some other person. So why would someone like that save money? They can’t, because it’s an entirely different person.
