I can understand some of what they feel.
I think the hatred is due to the fact that the 2020-1 boom was fueled by governments and central banks that absolutely lost their minds. Before long you had lucky know-nothings (not an insult) thinking they were god's gift to mankind, and the hubris gets fucking old.
The crypto and stock and real estate booms happened as a result of this retarded government actions, so they associate the two.

The entire foundation of traditional finance (401ks, broad market ETFs, real estate, everything besides Bitcoin) is built on selling people the idea of being smart and making money without any real work or analysis. There is no smarter strategy than just buying Bitcoin and waiting until after at least one halving to sell. The price has proven this and it's extremely predictable using a little bit of research and common sense. So yes, I am usually the smartest person in the room because I have the most bitcoin. I didn't set out to be better than everyone else, but the price of the unconfiscatable currency with the lowest rate of inflation is still under $20k in a world of 8 billion people.
