Never. It’s always supply and demand. There are people like myself who buy ammo when ever they can. I own a 10mm and buy a box of rounds when ever I see them. Have thousands of rounds, shoot 200 about once a month. Keep the brass and just make them at home, shoot targets for cheap, keep a couple boxes of manufactured rounds for when I carry

>> No.53509831

I talk with suppliers constantly, prices are definitely going to go up. Don’t believe me, I don’t care, I am just letting you know it’s a good intuition. Don’t buy garbage though, buy smart and it’ll pay off. Think of it more as a real hedge against inflation and maybe a 2-3x if you’re lucky with what’s coming for manufacturers. I know at this point dozens of people in the industry personally have collections of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of ammo just because they realized what’s going to happen. Also localized ammo crisis would be the best way to arbitrage money from the markets right now. If you understand that, try it out, see how you like it. If you don’t, whatever. Goodbye.

Only certain rounds will have that kind of growth (9mm, 5.56, .308) whereas other rounds haven't budged at all. I can still get 7mm Mauser or 7.5 French for the same price as it was years ago and now those more unpopular rounds look cheap in comparison as they often are the only things available during a panic. It's a good reason to have a rifle or two in an uncommon caliber.

There's a masive demand and retards who don't understand how the market works create a massive back log of ammunition and now that they fed has increased interest rates they have killed demand.
