I'm so fucking sick of this. I'll get a raise then the prices go up. I'm fucking spinning my wheels over here year by year waiting to get a house and it just gets worse. What's the future look like economy nerds?

I already did that but I didn't pull a permit when I installed the outlets in the house so the city came and flagged the house and then demolished it and fined me 20 billion dollars. I'm not doing that again.

It will never go down by any measure at all. You are being priced out. Go look at some charts on FRED and realize that you'll never own a home.

Look up purchasing power
Median wages
Median home income

Set them to log.

Another way to look at it is that everything has gone up 7x since the 70s but homes have gone up 20x.

Lol lmao

I'm moderately aware of these points. But this sort of hyper price increases can't be sustainable. It has to stop one way or another right? The bubbles got to burst.

Newsflash: Housing prices in bubble cities may cool off a bit, but generally speaking housing prices aren't going to go down. Normies like you are going to keep getting priced out. Rich (me) will get richer, as always. Seethe and cope

debt max retards are going to win. I regret not buying a house. The FED is never going to allow things to come back to reality because it's too painful at this point. I doubt they will let people loose mortgages. Assets are going to continue to sky rocket, and it's creating a inflation spiral.

Although, boomers and max vaxers are dying. However, the top 1% will keep accumulating housing, and the government will keep pumping in 3rd world retards.

It seems like it's going that way. It's pretty unnerving. I do however have friends who own homes and they're not amazingly wealthy or anything. One lives in nowhere land and the other has a wife who helping with it. So it doesn't seem hopeless.
