First, this map is misleading. The pacific has more job growth because people are LEAVING it. California alone has lost 500k people since 2020. Oregon has lost 16k people (2021-2022) and the only state to gain people was Washington (80k, 2021-2022). Meanwhile the fastest growing states (which have less jobs because they are actually being taken...) are Texas, Florida, and Utah. The fact is people are flocking to these 'religious' (really, no one gives a fuck about that, they are conservative with lower taxes and cost of living) states DESPITE Roe V.
