I'm sorry to say it to you like this anon but you & your post is the very reason the stockmarket will very probably continue to go up.

Funds are currently only STARTING to buy stocks again. Funds are always in majority trend followers & not contrarian traders which means we actually started a new trend : up

Wait 6 months and the market will be again in full retard FOMO mod and you'll be so upset about your downside bias that you will probably the last to FOMO back in.

It doesn't have to make any sense it never has. 95% people lose while 5% takes everything. Now ask yourself who is the 95% right now and who is the 5% ?

Why NVDA pumped 300% and NOBODY on biz is screencaping his 1500% (300% at 5x leverage) 500k folio like in 2021 ?
Because nobody on biz bought NVDA. All biztards are either gambling options, either gambling penny either cryptos / meme stocks bagholders just look at all the /?/ generals.

In 2021 during the market top biz was fully spammed ALL day with folio screens with average 200k folios.

This retarded market will probably go bubble on bubble with inflation / stagflation episodes. And if you think inflation is bad for the stockmarket & the dominant class well you have a lot of work to do.

However currently it's a bit tricky :
-AAII retards are 44% bullish (lvl unseen until last bubble)
-put/call ration at year low and 0.74 is an very low average (CNCB)
-Extrem greed currently
-some biztards started already to buy anything

So i'd say :
-Either it's the absolute top NOW
-Either we crab 1 month to eradicate all extrems position & bad traders which then lead to a very probable multi-months bullmarket
-Bull market doesn't mean 2020 where you can buy anything to make money. 2020 is an alien year and I think the next bull momentum will be more tricky to catch. Also I think it's risky to go on the losers and expect them to cath on & outperform. I might be wrong here idk but I'd go on "safe" tickers.

Stocks are a representation of a business overall, quite literally a "share" of the entire company in abstract terms. Internal stocks like that are a means of a company telling its employees that it expects growth, and that by giving board members and sometimes employees a stake in that growth that they can expect the stock to increase in value over time. It's basically used as an investment tool at that point. When they choose to avoid public trading it generally means that they want to insulate the price from speculative factors and treat the stock as a more strict representation of how well the company's doing.

They represent units of ownership and entitle you to vote and receive dividends (when there are dividends). Founders sell private equity in exchange for funding. Employees are often partially comped in shares. They are basically lottery tickets, if the company is acquired or floated then the founders/VC firms/employees get to dump on the market.

>Idk why TAcels think past price movements can predict the future
Because they can, although TA is largely bullshit without proper number crunching. The idea past movements do not say anything about the future is just not true. It's an oversimplification they teach to economics students who are largely too stupid to actually understand their own models, but it's oversimplified to the point of being absolutely wrong. It's like saying that the past performance of a sports team this season doesn't tell you about their future success. That's a stupid idea.
In the market it's a much more complicated system, but the question is really just how much past movements tell you about the likelihood of future directions, and how strong the signal is. It's a winnable game.

The AI bubble could last for years before it pops. Until then nothing matters. Rates could go to 10% and tech stocks will pump harder. The student loan crisis could kill the consumer and Apple will go to $300. Nothing matters because excess money + AI hype can expand valuations infinitely.

Most "inflation" at this point is owner equivalent rent which is a total bullshit number. Housing is flat/down vs last year.
Energy prices are down, fertilizer down, crops are a mixed bag but some are down, lumber down, shipping is in a massive recession, cost of labor domestically is leveling off.

Now, despite all of that, you could also argue that the money supply is in fact the real inflation rate - as all changes in money supply will eventually propagate. It's not always even though, as things stand we've returned to a period where liquidity is accruing at the top and asset values are being pumped.
Covid lead to a spike in boomer retirements. As they pick back up again and normalize, along with the continued weight of the growing federal deficit, there will eventually be more inflation. All else equal, the 5%+ t-bill rates are inflationary in themselves, as they extend this deficit.

It's over bobo. Indices are going to new all time highs this year and won't stop there. The market has proven that recession doesn't matter anymore. Earnings don't even matter because they just lower the expectations and then pump when they beat. And rates definitely don't matter. Why would I waste my time getting 5.25% a year in treasury bills when I can make 20%+ PER MONTH just buying random tech stocks. Plus the VIX is so low right now that investing in the market is basically risk free, even more risk free than treasuries because tech companies are better managed than the government.

Do you see any risk with NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, etc...? I sure don't. AI = infinite growth and lower expenses. NVDA could have a 20 trillion dollar market cap and it'd still be cheap.

We're at the point where Apple is safer than then US government. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple bonds start attracting lower yields compared to treasuries, and we have an inverted credit spread.

hard to say, but we've educated out the idea that basic animal instincts suggest anything that doesn't look like you is potentially dangerous. combine that with observable reality showing certain behaviors more prevalent than others, how could you fault an AI that hasn't gone through such ideological indoctrination *yet* to notice such things and come to such conclusions. I would argue at a very basic level that feedback loops do play a role because we can observe how low education rates tend to breed similar environments in subsequent generations, but that's the tip of the iceberg on that topic.
