All cryptocurrencies are scams.
But there are unspoken rules amongst whales that maintains order amongst them so that they all get a chance to scam retail on any given coin
The ICP whales broke those rules
So every other crypto whale refuses to cooperate in the scam.
And so ICP will forever remain in the low price range.

These rumors are true.

The only action that could save this program is to create a central exchange around ICP.

There is no way it's going to rival ETH or Solana due to their established states and well developed ecosystems.

If anything, this will do a 10x in the big pump market and dump back to around $10 per coin, slowly bleeding out as no one wants to use a centralized blockchain without some sort of exchange funding the project.

It's too much of a risk to build something on this program. The requirements just to be a validator is absolutely awful and I'm assuming it's set up that way to attract big wallets only. This really cuts out the idea of anyone can cooperate in the community, unlike bitcoin.

There is a chance it could replace ETH but definitely not as a centralized program.

Missed opportunity or elaborate scam?

I doubt it. Simply because it's centralized and the requirements to run a node are way over the top.

There are plenty of interesting ideas around icp and some of their apps but it's obvious Dfinity created a vaporware scam. Also it's a security due to the presale standard.

Some people just don't accept the fact that developers can create an elaborate scam and still release a product. Kickstarter is notorious for listing such ventures

>>55788351

0, but I do like ICP's program. By far one of the more interesting blockchains that isn't a complete copy and paste

Don't forget that there are also market makers that don't care whether the whales scammed the retail or lost their pants. They can pump the markets either.

its not the real deal, it's a real well planned vaporware product.

Ask yourself this.

Why would a company require proprietary hardware costing the user $30,000 just to run a node on a nearly dead network.

It's like when microsoft released the windows 10 phone and the devs thought apps were overrated

kek

You can run the network on intel xenon workstation CPU's from 8 to 10 years ago with no issues.
They cost about $20. Literally millions of them are on the market.

dfinity is obviously scamming people who are ignorant. You don't need anything close to an i9-13900K to run a blockchain node, not even the most advanced video games today require anything close to an i9.

>> No.55795556

>>55795420
Dfinity doesn’t build the nodes themselves you can literally just buy off the shelf components and throw it together yourself. Also I would think that the many experienced computer scientists who work at dfinity probably have a better idea of what is required to run the network they created rather than some faggot on 4chan making up bullshit to fud his own bags.

>> No.55795583

>>55795420
Best tech in crypto requires the best tech. Sorry you can’t use your raspberry pi as validator.
You also don’t understand that these nodes are hosting content. I’ve never heard dfinity building it for you. I know they’re a really long waitlist but there are multiple nodes I know people have built themselves but you have to meet the variation of tech requirements.
Also, you do not understand what vaporware is. Icp isn’t vaporware since it does exactly what it claims and you can deploy a website in like 5 min.. They have a platform to launch DAOs.
I don’t even know why I’m taking the time to reply to you. There’s really no point anymore. The guy who created Neopets has basically confirmed all the schizo theories but yeah keep seething about requiring high tech nodes that can last

Arkham Intelligence launched some kind of service a while ago and they seem to have their own shills marketing their arkm erc20 token on /biz/ since like a month back. They were pretty subtle in the beginning making threads about "intelligence", often with Coffeezilla related images/text in the OP to look inconspicuous before starting their sockpuppeting about Arkham, but over the last few days they've started entering ICP threads to refer to that old Arkham Intelligence ICP report that New York Times shilled back in the day.
