my last job was at a medical device company. they put us on a 20% pay cut and a 4 day work week during COVID, because sales dropped through the floor. the pay cut sucked ass but the 4 day work week was awesome. unnecessary meetings with retards were slashed and everything got done on time.

Yes, I do 4x10s as a government worker. However a lot of people get lazy on Thursday just like how a lot of people get lazy on Friday. They basically don’t do their work and it pisses me off. I’m a manager okay, and when I see my subordinates slacking off on Thursday it enrages me. I understand on Monday’s, “hey it’s Monday” - I get it. But finish the week strong and be proud that A, you work here, B, you had a worthwhile week. If I actually do see my team slacking heavily I’ll assign work over the week. I don’t care I need to push numbers.
