Kek I used to cut it myself then then I grew my hair out went for a trip to a smaller local city in the countryside where the local barber asked 70% less for a haircut compared to the city I live in and I took it. Haven't cut my hair since, that was like a few months ago. The deal was too good to pass.

It's probably EIDO, but perhaps you're holding a more generalized ASEAN ETF. Long term performance has unsurprisingly been about as shitty as every other single country ETF out there. Exposure biased towards megacap banks and industrials. Mediocre dividends, low growth, forex headwinds, high expense ratio in the ETF for no real reason.

Fuck it, I should move to Murrica ASAP and grind a 9 to 5 office job, or whatever I can get. Then I live on the minimum of expenses I can, while saving up USD.
In Murrica a usd$40k - usd$60k / year job is considered mediocre to average pay. If I can grind just usd$200k, I can buy multiple real state units at home and then be guarranteed to at least have my overhead expenses covered through tenants.

True. We're also at a dangerous time in macro terms. We're just edging up next to the inflation target and car prices specifically are plummeting because they can't sell. Tesla is getting ripped a new asshole by that right now because it was so overvalued but it'll come for every car company soon.

Soft landing could happen but I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 6 months we overshoot the inflation target and wind up in at least a mild recession where car sales remain depressed. Suggests keeping some cash as dry powder to DCA or buy a dip vs. lump sum immediately IMO.

Anyone suddenly excited to take a vacation to Argentina is an idiot because prices are about to start rising in USD terms. Collapsing foreign currencies are a positive as an american tourist.

It seems when there is a plan to implement something eventually in the US they test it out in these 2nd tier economies first to see how it goes and learn lessons.

They desperately want to do austerity in the US (by gutting SS, not raising taxes ofc lol) but they know they need a veneer of a more palatable ideology to sell it, so libertarianism might be allowed a few victories like this. If there's a jobs boom and lower inflation due to an influx of foreign investment, then people won't be so mad about losing welfare.

This will either attract a lot of foreign capital to ARGT or else, if it isn't part of the script ARGT will be made an example.

If you know what's good for you stay the fuck away from bonds. The decades-long bond bull market is done until the US resolves its debt situation. They cannot afford to pay you a positive real yield, so you won't be getting one. It doesn't matter what the rates are. If rates are 10% inflation will be 15% and you will lose 5%.

With bonds there is only tactical, short term trades betting on bear rallies or trying to capture the moment the Fed does YCC. But this is not for the passive investor.

Almost everything else will be fine over time if properly diversified.

This is true, but they did this to cripple the German and EU economy for at least the next 25 years. Anti-nuclear was psyop, with world leaders around the world nodding their heads and goading Germany on in its plans to denuclearize. The German Greens were easy to dupe. Imagine if Germany had a solid nuclear reactor fleet still in play today, they would be a serious industrial threat to the rest of the world. But with the price electricity skyrocketing in Germany, and companies like BASF, KBL and others shutting down operations in Germany permanently, they've completely wrecked their future.

Meanwhile, everyone from Trudeau in Canada to the oil barons of Saudi Arabia are going full bore to build out new nuclear capacity.

A few things to note about the Save-Jlbu trial. They tried to do a deal with the Govt before the trial started. Said; "we'd be willing to give up so and so routes, etc" to make this work. Govt said "Fuck you, we're going to court". Both Save and JBlu have already sold/divested routes, etc to other airlines in an attempt to appease the Govt. Govt has still said "Fuck you". It's not about the routes in and of themselves JBlu wants. Its all about the airplanes and maintenance staff, equipment, hangers SAVE has and the planes SAVE has on order. They can't buy them/lease them anyplace else cheaper than this other than by buying SAVE. All these attempts to work with the Govt go a long way with the Judge. Will show that they're trying to work it out. V.S someone just going to court saying "Fuck you we aren't compromising anything".
