$2400, then $3000 in 18-24 months. Seems extreme, but $3000 would be a 50% move up from here, similar to the move in 2019-2020, see chart. And everyone knows this, including the mercantile banks who can't keep the price suppressed any longer. Which means it will happen faster than most people think, to prevent retail on the fence from taking advantage of it. Expect huge impulse move soon to lock further retail out.

Things have changed a lot in only a few years. Wasn't long ago the idea of food delivery aside from Pizza or in cities where they're packed in like rats was pure fantasy. You couldn't go to "Bum fuck nowhere WI" and still get some poor fuck to deliver your MCD's order to your hotel room. The concept of Uber was laughable to not to long ago. Used to be "oh you need a ride? I'll get you a taxi" was the thing. Now it's "I'll get an uber. People walk around talking to their-selves, more in likely they are on the phone. And not crazy off their meds as would be the case 20 years ago.

If you buy it at its lows before the pressure blows, you can profit like any other speculative vehicle. If gold goes up 50% in the next 24 months, then gold and silver junior miners will go up 500-1000%. That's far outpacing inflation in the short term.

I did try a bull credit spread on XLF back in september, but ended up getting assigned early and had to exit the trade because price ended up moving against me and I didn't have the cash to maintain the open position (which was the right (but still losing) choice to make anyways, since I was going to be earning daily interest on a position that didn't work out)

I know picrel is kinda messy, but I feel like there's a retrace to 160-163 that could happen, since it's a price level that many projects converge on. I dont know, I've had the worst luck with options. I understand greeks, I know how to construct different spreads, but I pick wrong every time

I personally couldn't find anything worth my attention. 10% off on some crap. Pathetic.
Then again, it might be connected to the growing inflation consumer expectations. They are expecting prices to keep rising so they buy now when it's still relatively affordable.
Or maybe normies are simply that rich after the massive QE.

On a low level this is why I don't bother with spreads on American style options. Granted some kinds of spreads can be good if you play them right like a PMCC but that does require some tact to manage well, or a simple wheel may work too if you have the cash. If you're inclined for spreads do it on any Euro style option like the indexes and future options since they don't have early assignment risk and they have better tax rules too.

>I know picrel is kinda messy, but I feel like there's a retrace to 160-163 that could happen, since it's a price level that many projects converge on
To be frank I've never been a fan of using technicals to determine what a stock will do since some bull shit news could make it sky rocket. Focus on the story, the fundamentals of the stock rather than what the numbers say in the short term but that's how I do it so it may not suite your psychology.

>I dont know, I've had the worst luck with options. I understand greeks, I know how to construct different spreads, but I pick wrong every time
Try something new and make clear rules for it. If you're shit with options then work it from a basic mode, sell cash secured puts, and when you get assigned eventually sell covered calls to get a handle on some mechanics.
Unironically I would recommend trying it on F or UUUU given their lower prices but range bound nature they have.

Pars II,
To better explain why I'm shilling the wheel here,
https://optionalpha.com/blog/wheel-strategy

Overall it forces you to get good at trading. It forces you to think strategically, pick better stocks, it's simple to do and sometimes simple wrks when it comes to this, etc... That in mind you can easily fuck up this like going after the highest premium possible but then you'd wind up bag holding a stock you really R E A L L Y don't want like GME etc....
The great thing about the wheel is it's simple to do and if you pick stocks you like, and extend the time you don't mind holding them your stress over the trade drops.

You may need a better broker kek
IBKR is pretty good when it comes to this or ideally tastyworks. If really broke you could use *Robinhood* but I don't recommend them if you can help it.
>but equities are more volatile
ehhhhh, if anything is in the SPY it follows SPY for the most part hence why I just spam credit spreads on the SPX a lot of the time. Now don't get me wrong individual stocks are definitely volatile but given my more set it and forget it method it's not ideal, if it was I'd just trade futures since it's highly directional.

That said; If you can shuffle over 1k over to another broker who won't nickel and dime you try wheeling UUUU or F since they're pretty cheap, plus it'll give you some experience with the method.

A lot of Swedish companies are not Swedish. They kind of have to remain in Sweden to keep receiving their truly astonishing government benefits and gibs. Sweden is held by the balls by these big companies. They have the ultimate leverage.
That is why they are taxed less. If the big companies had to pay the same taxes as normal people, they could never build up their business. That's why for example IKEA was not founded in Sweden (yet is hailed as the quintessential Swedish company bc normos can't help themselves).
That's why you shut up, keep working, and keep buying. We shrimps have it easy like that. Stocks go brrrrr

Futures on the Micros are very good, but if I'm being 100 here DO NOT TRADE THEM ON A SMALL ACCOUNT. You will die very fast since a single 5 minute candle can easily stop you. At a minimum you should throw 10k at futures trading since you give yourself some flexibility and breathing room. As always though try doing them on a paper account and see how it goes.

Ive lost 12k over 3 years against a NW of (now) 62k. Probably a 25-30% drawdown from when I started trading... its bad but its not catastrophic. I'm much more careful with money and risk management, and I'd rather just buy 5% bonds than bleed money, until I figure out an edge.
For example, I'd lose a few hundred per trade during the mania, but nowadays I have tighter stops and a more developed system, did 10 trades and lost no more than $150 across them total.
