if that works I would 100% do it, I've lucid dreamed quite a few times and it's awesome. I've used it to practice stuff before too. so being able to do it more would improve everyone I think.

LMFAOOOO you really think employers would allow that? They'd squeeze every bit of freedom from you as possible

Also this. 100 years from now people will be put into permanent sleep and made into productivity machines. Matrix style

Bullshit
It’s another theranos
We don’t even know how most of medicine work in our brain
I am serious, go look into differnt chemicals that are used to alleviate depression and anxiety, they don’t even know how it effect. They say it “mayo effect this or that, but they are not certain, and yet to know the exact mechanism.
And yet we here to believe that somehow they are able to MECHANICALLY give you 100% lucid dreams? Bullshit

>> No.56836557

They will pay you half as much and it will be mandatory to keep your job. It will later be found to give you a new kind brain cancer and reduce life expectancy by 10 years. A man named Chaim Shekelberg will profit from this. Then his cousin Schlomo will sell special pain pills to manage your decline while promising to halve your life expectancy decline to only 5 years. This will both be subsidized by the government and cost out the ass for you. Then it will turn out lots of people are overdosing on the pain pills, reducing their life expectancy by 30 years. The media will celebrate the deaths of many white programmers as the onset of a new era of diversity in america as the new census data reflects a less-white population.

Lucid dreaming is overrated for productivity because it robs dreams of spontaneity and creativity. So many of my ideas have come to me in regular dreams. Just record what you want your brain to produce and slowly you'll get better at producing and recalling good material.

>> No.56837461

This angle is really silly.
Out of all the things people would want to lucid dream for, working more has got to be near the absolute bottom.
It's like inventing the Holodeck and promoting it by saying "you can use it to create a really cool office for your job". Like what a missed opportunity to grab attention and generate hype.

Actual engineer here, by far the worst part about the job is the inability to turn off your brain after work. You're effectively still "working" in the shower, at the gym, when you're trying to sleep and any time you aren't completely focused on something else.
It's why I took up motorcycling as a hobby. It's a mindfulness activity where I can't think about anything else while I'm riding at the limit.

>lucid dream startup
ngmi. are silicon valley scamfags really this desperate now? even when you lucid dream, you're not 100% yourself. for example, one of the biggest criticisms of the movie Freddy vs. Jason is when Freddy visits Jason in a dream in a basement. Jason was about to hack Freddy with his machete but Freddy surrounds himself with a shower of water. Jason suddenly is afraid of water which he clearly isn't IRL, but in the dream world, he's not 100% there, so his subconscious thoughts are invasive enough to make Jason feel this way. These subconscious, invasive thoughts also pervade the lucid dreamer, although not on the same scale as a non-lucid dream episode, but like quantum computing, not 100% reliable. try again, siliconfags

another example. a lucid dreamer engineer dreams of a meeting and comes up with an amazing concept. he wakes up, smiles, tries to remember what it was. he remembers. it's really shit. nevermind, scratch that

I bet this is fake news, but even then...
What the fuck is wrong with people? The very first thing you want to do when sleeping is to HAVE SOME REST and let your brain enter the different sleep modes. Can you imagine not being able to do that? I assume one would go crazy pretty fast.

I stopped smoking weed recently and last night I had the first full lucid dream.
I woke up three times knowing I was lucid dreaming and was able to continually resume the dream where I left off.
It was 2030 and 2 bros and 1 girl bro were with me, none of them were aware of the dream but I wonder if they were disconnected from the dream space because they're all still coping with life stoned 100% of the time.
