This is from minting SOL to pay validators. They wont be able to do this forever. Inflation on SOL is unsustainable and will eventually tank the price.

Its eco system primarily consists of pump and dump meme coins. This is whats driving the recent price action. Multiple chains survive and thrive off this same type ecosystem. SOL lacks decentralization and constantly crashes. From a technical stand point it is the least reliable chain in the top 10 market cap. This will become more apparent during the next retail induced bull run.

SOL has minted over 100 mil coins in the last 2 yrs. This equates to over 15% inflation and it is unsustainable long term. Its also the reason the fees are cheap. It has already exceeded its former ATH market cap even though it prices has only reached 75% of its ath from 2 years ago.

It does this by being less secure, less stable and bleeding value from its holders through inflation. It is also important to note that VC insiders and team members aquired 48% of the coins for cheap.

In summary, SOL is a VC insider slow rug pull that will eventually collapse due to an unsustainable fee structure or inflation. If users ever have to pay the actual costs for their transactions it will lose all its users and become worthless. If transactions continue to be subsidized by minting new tokens, inflation will slowly eat away the value of their investment. In the meantime, enjoy your centralized meme coin factory and remember to sell before the VC's do.
