I'm currently in uni finishing up my studies to become an accountant. I want to know ways to make it in the corporate world. I want to have meaningful conversations like how to negotiate salary raises with your bosses.

97% of people on this board are gambling on digital bits on chains with no underlying utility hoping to buy and sell at the right time and win other peoples losses.
If you want something real and not just other peoples unlucky money, you should invest in successful companies with rising revenue.
A company's revenue is is 1:1 with the stock price in the long term. Double the revenue means double the price.
Look at companies that are solving real problems or filling a whole in the market and are growing quickly and has a lot of room to grow and have some great advantage in their respective field.
Look at the company's hidden assets that they've not put into use yet, look at their debt / savings.
You just need to pick very few well performing solid stocks and hold them for 5+ years. You'll also help the market solve a problem or fill a whole.
Use your natural advantage. Buy things in fields you know a lot about so you know what to do and expect if the stock suddenly rises or falls a lot. That way you don't need to worry and you won't sell or buy at the wrong time or for the wrong reason.
