The market cap is going to 100M USD over the next month. After that the real mania begins, crypto will be a 10 trillion market, until the inevitable crash when quantum computing arrives in around 10 years time.

Good luck anons.

why would quantum computing crash the market?

The dip is over for today, you should have bought 10 minutes ago

t. Anon who bought 10 minutes ago

I think this anon assumes that quantum computing will come with a way to crack the SHA265 algorithm. I don't know why that would be the case.

The entire concept of cryptocurrency is based around current computing power not being able to "crack" cryptographic hashes.

When quantum computing finally hits theres gonna be an exponential increase of computing power. Literally unfathomable advances and it's gonna rendar all crypto useless. Even those that are said to be "quantum resistant".

Of course and I'm already up 5.6% on my largest dip buy because the market is recovering.

so basically quantum computing will be able to find the private key by brute forcing the 2^256 possibilities?
sheeeit, i need more time

Good luck

No it wouldn't. Quantum computing will fuck over RSA and the like if a working version of Shor's algorithm is ever implemented, but afaik SHA265 isn't based on prime factorization and I have read nothing that indicates it would in any way be affected by quantum computing.

can you elaborate? is quantum computing a threat?

You sound like you don't know the first thing about quantum computing.

Quantum computers won't be able to break hashes.
They will be able to break private keys to your addresses instead.
