I think the biggest threat to crypto is the amount of shitcoins and scamcoins entering the market. 86 new coins have emerged in the last two weeks alone. At that rate, we will have 3620 coins by the end of the year. We need to do more to stamp out the obvious shit/scam coins before they explode. There is just no way that investing in crypto will be profitable if there are too many choices to make. There isn't enough capital to pump 4000 coins.

Maybe somebody could set up a website that blacklists obvious shit/scam coins? to spread awareness.

If any of us are going to make it, the money needs to be invested in good teams with good products.

Don't sweat the new coins incoming because there will be a mass culling of the coins soon. You will see coins get dropped and zeroed out left and right by exchanges once they stop performing.
