this might be a mindblowing concept to those of you born in the 90s, but even during the web boom most of the internet was free. adblockers were shit and you were assaulted by pop-up ads when you went to commercial websites, but there was a shit ton of content being made and shared between small websites who didn't ask a dime
it's a simple concept to anyone with wisdom, share good stuff for free and you're rewarded by a whole ecosystem of people producing great content for you
of course this doesn't work once the floodgates are opened to the consumerist parasites

Yeah, well every thread about online advertising, Facebook/Google Data harvesting, third party tracker ads and targeted online advertising is BAT related. Because Brave's specific goal is to get rid of all this shitty, obnoxious and obsolete online advertising bullshit.

Honestly Facebook's decline and eventually Google's downfall will pave the way for internet privacy and a new online advertising paradigm. It's only a matter of time. If Brave/BAT don't solve the issue, someone else will, but this data harvesting + tracker ads shouldn't be the future.
