that's ok starting out. save money and invest as much as possible.

i'm 35 and I clear $6K per month after taxes, insurance and 401K are all taken out. not to mention my monthly bonus anywhere between 2-15K depending on the month.

but the less you need to worry about your salary for financial freedom the better. the more you invest, the more independent you'll be
