How to make money risking other people's money, and not just yours?

I have the opportunity to make an import/resell that would cost me 15331.84$ and yield me 2668.00$ after making the sale for 18k$.

If I had over 100.000$ lyind agound I'd do this in a heartbeat, but the 15k is more than 50% my entire savings, so I'd be risking 50% of everything I made in my life for the chance of getting 10% back.

Is there a way to completely eliminate the risk of losing any money at the cost of earning a bit less from the transaction? How can I make money for myself using other people's money, other than working for them?
