I can never get high before work.

I work with people, for starters. But more than that, I just don't want to waste good weed being high at work. Work is where I can be cerebral and creative, and I need to think on my toes anyways. Again, I can do it all high, but I like to compartmentalize my high time. I only choose to get high when all my responsibilities are taken care of so that I can fully enjoy an unbroken several-hour period to play video games, cook/eat snacks, do random exercises, and general internet fucking-around, all while smoking/vaping a small bowl two or three times throughout, without a single worry, procrastination, or "problem for future me".

Also, sure, I could get high and then clear my eyes and smell before I get in to work in the morning, but it's definitely worn off by lunch, unless I've eaten an edible, so there's no way to avoid being burnt out for a couple hours near the end of the day when you're already tired anyways. I prefer to use weed as my reward for not severely fucking anything up, failing to tend to my responsibilities, or killing myself, before the end of the day.

Brand-new middle school teacher, by the way. Still had the same feelings about work and weed when I was a wagecuck though.
