PM's are easy to sell depending on the quantity. Will your local coin shop accept a $100k gold bar? Probably not. Will they accept 10 gold Britannias or AGEs? Most likely yes if they move any significant amounts of coins. Sell to every coin shop in your state city over a few months and the cash is yours. And that's if you don't want to do what >>11029888 said.

And that's if you want to convert back to fiat. You can also "trade" with PMs directly for goods if you'd like at pawn shops and similar places.

>>11029867

well first of all if you cash out money now how can you have taxes already paid on it when you pay for 2018 in the beginning of 2019? unless it's different in your contry
second thing is the banks don't care about taxes, it's IRS's problem, the banks freeze the shit out of crypto trader's accounts because (((they))) don't like your evil crypto coins. Exchanges aren't regulated so the bank can always say
>how do we know this money is clean? Did coinbase check where do your bitcoins that you sold for usd came from?
>what if you bought your coins on a black market with drug money and now you're trying to siphon it through coinbase?
so you show them your initial bank wires from few years ago and they say
>but how did you turn your initial 2btc into 50btc 2 years later?
and you're gonna show them what? an excel sheet from binance that everyone could fake in one afternoon of creative thinking?

The point is the bank has unlimited attack vectors to play stupid and freeze your account and play stupid for years.

The only sound advice is to lawyer the fuck up with some turbo kike lawyer before you ever cash out a substantial amount. If they see a stressed neet with shaky hands they won't even listen to your story, just straight up freeze the fuck out of all possible account and keep you waiting for years.

That's how it is, making it is 1 thing, cashing out is another game you have to win. They want you to wageslave till 65, not retire at 25.

>> No.11030714

>>11030538
It is a crime to structure deposits in order to avoid declaring to the IRS. With the crypto ---> PM method, these rules don't apply because crypto isn't cash and neither is gold. You could technically buy $1mil+ in gold/silver bars/coins and not have to declare anything as long as you use crypto (the dealer themselves will probably report it though since its blatant money laundering/tax evasion). See my other post >>11029839. Take note that its says the "bank" under the related transactions section. Bullion dealers aren't banks.

You can then convert PMs into cash as needed, or buy things with PMs directly if possible. If you convert to cash, you can use cash to buy things. The biggest problem with OP and the other poster is they are trying to deposit into a bank, which brings up these problems with reporting requirements.

I have a question. What is your deposit limit? I have deposited a little over 5 grand before but it was from a college refund. I don't want to go to jail, my record is squeaky-clean. I wasn't planning on depositing more than that, since i just needed some extra cash for food, while I'm looking for a job.

I live in Alabama (US) and my bank is Regions btw.

Legally, deposits over $10k in the US are held for 7-10 days as a “Counter-terrorism measure” under the Patriot Act. Deposits over $100k (or smaller deposits totaling $100k over 7 days or less) are investigated by law enforcement and may take 30 days. There is never a true limit on what you can deposit, just more strings and scrutiny.

Go to a physical bank location, and clear up the transfer with a human before you do it.
Sorry we're not yet in the future where you can just interact with app interfaces, but we're not and a little human grease makes everything run a lot smoother.

>BREAKING: ZOOMER TRIES TO "CASH OUT"
>A Zoomer Tuesday tried to cash out his gains in cryptocurrency, but met with resistance as Goodgoy Bank International decided to annul his entire savings account for technical reasons and anti-Zionism. "The GBI is fully committed to the interests of our (((investors))) and cannot currently provide such customer services as 'cashing out,'" said Mr. Ari Shekelstein, the bank's spokesperson.
>Zoomer's father Gen-X expressed disappointment in his son's actions. "I had a child ironically and I've regretted it ever since. I seriously just want to strangle him. He's ruined fucking my life, probably unironically."
>Zoomer grandfather Boomer was likewise critical. "No-one in our gated community has even heard of 'cryptocurrency,'" he said on phone from his Dubai yacht, "I pay my Mexican servants in cash."
>On Twitter, noted crypto expert LGGBDTTTIQQAAPP_Millennial commented: "Cashing out is for shitlords and DEEPLY DEEPLY PROBLEMATIC!!! FUCK TRUMP AND FUCK WHITE PEOPLE!!!"

You'll be a rich old man in that case, crypto isn't mooning as long as all investors cash out entirely once they reach their goal, expecially unrealistically high goals like making 8 figures from 3000USD.

>Getting ass raped on 20% of your money

Money that you "didn't stole" from others by timing a transaction better, am I right? And on top of that you don't want to pay taxes, you are free to do, don't cry when the world collapses into anarchy because "ME ME ME ME ME ME, FUCK YOU".

At least spend some in crypto so that you advertise it's uses.

Why cash out? Why invest money you cannot lose? Did you just transfer the moeny, without any papers? Why did you not transfer 4k every week? Why did you not split the transfers and also with 4 banks?
Of course they want know if someone without any money suddenly get a huge transfer from any weird company called coinbase.

>>11029402

Why you wont cash out? Wait and relax. No need to worry anymore in 10 years if you have 1 BTC, pay all your shit with satoshis.

Yeah coinbase took a few hundred dollars from me and permabanned me from making new accounts just because they didn't like the vendor I was doing business with (100% legal clearnet stuff).

Don't trust coinbase, use them as an easy way to buy if you must but transfer to a better account immediately. Even cashapp is safer

Assuming you didn't acquire this via a like kind exchange or received your coin as wage compensation:
You need to legitimize your gain by reporting it to the IRS on schedule D and form 8949. Tell your bank you're doing so.
