Lol, its like $125 to form an LLC in the US. I form LLC's all the time for real estate, etc. Its actually necessary if you want your effective tax rate to be under 15%. You pay extra in accounting, but its worth it, would rather pay that to a private professional than fork over cash to the feds anyway.
