The part about how their consensus algorithms allows to scale to 1 million nodes with only 67% more resources and 1 billion nodes with only 250% more resources is fascinating, if it really works that simply in reality

Seems like these guys are making some real contributions to blockchain, but is this just going to end up a cool science project or will it really be used?
