Robinhood General Thread - /rgt/
Noko Internet Defense Force, please cream in my butthole because I'm a faggot edition.

Visit the website first - www.robinhood.com
If you're not into robinhood - http://www.stockbrokers.com/offers

FAQs for Robinhood
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.

> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).).

> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.

> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.

> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

> If I have Robinhood do I need to worry about 'Free riding' violations?
No, its not applicable for limited margin accounts (instant), and if you don't have instant, RH won't let you buy with unsettled funds

> Can I use Robinhood on my PC?
Yes, download an android emulator. Setup is extremely easy. http://www.memuplay.com/

From Wikipedia:

"The Company's patent portfolio includes U.S. and international patents in areas such as DNS and network communication. Since 2010, VirnetX has been in litigation with companies including Apple, Cisco, and Microsoft.[4] VirnetX has won several jury trials and settled with Microsoft, Aastra, Mitel, NEC, and Siemens, and most recently Avaya.[citation needed] Separately, in December 2014, Microsoft and VirnetX settled patent disputes over Skype technology for $23 million.[5] In their Apple case, VirnetX worked together with SAIC,[6] and was awarded $368 million in damages for FaceTime infringement.[7] That ruling was partially vacated on 8/19/2014, but two patents were confirmed to be infringed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.[8] In December 2014, VirnetX opened access to their Gabriel platform, which builds upon their patents, and is implemented as small to medium sized business enterprise collaboration software."

Me and broko have been calling prices, rises, falls and stabilizes on stocks for like 3 months. We called GEVO, we called EBIO, we called LQMT 2 times, we called 4 SKLN spikes days before they happened. We put up charts, news, and had logical reasoning on top of statistical analysis as to why it would rise in value and a good point to get out of the position for any given stocks. I gave everyone VHC today and if they'd have listened they would have made an almost immediate 20% return and could sell tomorrow on open if they don't wish to hold. If they hold it for 2 weeks it will double after the lawsuit they win with AAPL. There just isn't anything to prove man. People only made a big deal when we put on the tripcode, and the only reason I put it on is so people don't get strayed off course with the VHC plan. The European Commission's continued debate over whether to reauthorize glyphosate--the world's most widely used herbicide, chiefly marketed by Monsanto (MON) under the Roundup brand--is entering the final days before the current authorization expires on June 30, leaving the agricultural industry to ponder its next move. That could come in the courts: "If the glyphosate approval fails, industry experts predict hundreds of lawsuits against the EC to be filed almost immediately," officials for the National Grain and Feed Association write in a newsletter to members. A proposal to temporarily extend the authorization failed to garner the necessary majority earlier this month.

It'll get rejected most likely, and if it does it will have a bunch of failed lawsuits in an attempt to not go belly up.

Mmonsento is very risky right now. I wouldn't do it.

>awkward moving average for a corp that large.

If you buy it, buy it super dipped and hold it for a very long time, it's not a daytrade stock.

They wrote up to 75 trillion dollars in financial contracts which could be anything from insurances to bonds to whatever. Therye over leveraged at 40 times meaning for every 1 dollar in assets, they created $40 in derivatives exposure which just so happen to be derivatives designed to buy up Greek and Spanish debt so they can continue to borrow money after their credit rating when to the shitter. So now DB is stuck holding trillions in financial contracts based on the shit credit of Greece and Spain while their company is sinking into the mud.

Lehman didn't go down because interest rate went up. They were willfully hiding garbage assets in their balance sheet and one day it just fucking exploded. At least this time we KNOW Deutsche has garbage in their balance sheet. Has their credit rating come down yet?

>> No.1307818

>>1307804
yes. Their credit rating is dog shit. Its 2 levels above junk status where they are no longer considered to be a stable investment firm.

Lehman went down because the shit they were pedaling was interest sensitive adjustable rate sub prime shit. A higher fed rate basically means that european central banks have to increase theirs as well otherwise the euro and all their financial markets dry up. When interest rates go up in europe is means that countries like Greece and Spain now have a higher interest rate on their national debt making it even harder to ever pay back those shit tier credit default swaps they made with DB. Greece and Spain are essentially adjustable rate sub prime customers in this case just like fucking the trash they tried to get to buy homes in 2007

So you think buying in now is a bad idea essentially unless you have capital to make the smaller gains much more worthwhile? Or if it dips to near 6$ i should buy in small amounts and expect to run at 7$?
That's what it sounds like...buy if near 6 bucks but sell near 7.

>> No.1307932

>>1307914
I wouldnt say its a bad idea to buy now, but dont blindly listen to these shills, they want you to buy buy buy and not sell so that they can get out when it hits resistance. 6.3, 6.5 and 7 are all strong resistance points for this stock. Looks like we have support close to 6.3. You could play slightly risky, buy in now and sell by 7, that'll get you a nice ~10%. Or you could play little safer and buy in at 6.53 or something around there because once it breaks 6.5 its pretty much gonna shoot up to 7. That would be a safer bet though less profit. The reason to do that is if you were to buy in right now at 6.2, we hit some resistance at 6.3, if the support starts selling this thing could still fall pretty good (I dont think it will) but buying in after it passes some resistance is a safer play.
