You clearly have no clue how afraid the banks are of bitcoin. Why do you think CME futures were even released in the first place? Why do you think they wouldn’t stop talking about it at its peak? There’s basically 0% chance it doesn’t replace gold within the next 100 years since it can’t be mined out of an asteroid. Trust me there is no chance that in high level banking discussions they have plotted ways to suppress and accumulate. They’ve been caught with their pants completely down. They had decades to plan for accumulating gold and silver to store during a fiat collapse. Now it’s a bunch of neets and neckbears who own more than them, who ARENT selling and basically won’t sell under any circumstances. Unless they tank it close to 0 it will be impossible for them to accumulate a meaningful amount, and even then it might be impossible to get the amount they want

>>13196414
How the fuck is that cope retard? It’s literally the exact opposite of fucking cope. If it moons from here then it’s “oh well I was just completely wrong I deserve this” . But if it tanks, the realization that my greed and anger at life caused me to set a low liquidation will probably end up in my committing suicide

It’s going to crash dumbass, 95% chance he’s right. This is literally the exact same set up before the drop to 3k. If you recall there was a bullshit “tether fud” pump that wiped shorts. Then we return back to baseline and then it got hammered out of nowhere. It’s the same fucking trick over again. Now with all shorts cleaned out and bulls buying into the trap, traders fiat will be exhausted and the people in the space won’t be able to accumulate as much bitcoin at the bottom, when the banks are competing against us for it. In fact we’ll be selling right into their hands

There was a massive resistance at 4200, that we've tried to break several times.

BTC was slowly building up to it again, showing support. Finally at 4170ish, you saw bulls buying in. The sentiment was "oh shit oh shit we're going to fucking break it" and then that's when people were buying in and the pressure built and it fucking popped. You had massive amounts of longs open with high leverage, and there were lots of shorts sitting right there around that 4200 resistance level. When they were smashed, they were forced to sell to cover their shorts, thereby popping the price higher.

And so you saw a massive squeeze that took out layers and layers of shorts and finally exhausted above 5000 or so.

What's going to happen now? Either we slowly start to rally up, or fiat money runs out, and we start going down and confidence is killed. I'm thinking the latter. I don't think this was manipulation. I think it was just a trading effect.

Yeah man, that's pretty brutal. I got into crypto in 2017 with 8k or so, and traded my way up to about over 300K by Jan 2018. I was on cloud 9. For some dumb reason, I kept my money in alts and got married, even though I NEVER did that all the year. Throughout the year, I was always jumping in and dumping shitcoins. I look back and see how stupid I was to get married to a worthless alt. But the story is the same, a lot of others did the same thing, just like a lot of bobos got liquidated last night.

So all of 2018 was brutal as I watched my portfolio literally bleed out back to 8K, and I was just stuck there, unwilling to let go, or walk away with what I had. I was greedy and HAD to get back to my ATH.

Anyways, a few win in this market. Many experience pain day in and day out as they chase greed. It's going to be painful for a while. You're going to feel regret. But rather than end yourself as you feel, maybe take a step back and do some soul searching? I know this sounds like a meme, as I still WANT and desire to go back to my ATH, but it was valuable lesson in the sense that my brain was able to look at life through a different lense than the one that says "money is everything".

I know this will initially fall upon deaf ears as you have lost everything and are completely in a daze right now. Maybe screen cap this and commit to yourself that you will revisit it later. All I am saying is that just chill out for a while and take a break. Seriously. If you believe it will really test the bottom again, then start waging and build your stack up. It's very very hard to do so after losing everything, but at the end of the day, you gotta believe in something as that's all we have.

If you are a NEET and don't work, then maybe it's time you take a look at your life and see where you want to be. Is this who you really want to be? If crypto is going to change the world, then you're still early and can make it all back man.

Still a bear until a weekly higher low is set. This is a nice push by the bulls, but one thing I've noticed that makes me question this move's validity.

4200 broke on fairly low volume. Volume didn't really start coming in until the 44-4500 level and that was when FOMO took over.

If this market sells off a bit, a lot of those high volume FOMO longs will be taken out, meaning a retest of 4200 (a critical support level) may not be long in coming. 4200 would make a natural long entry where the bulls will attempt to defend to form the weekly higher low.

If the bulls can prove that much I'll definitely lean more bullish. I think continuation under the circumstances is highly unlikely, though of course possible. This market has shown, time and again, to sell and short when the greed starts taking over. And it's certainly taking over now.

BTC didn't hit my target of 2500 but still accumulated some at 3500, and narrowly missed my second accumulation at 3100. Needless to say, the bearish scenario is far from over. This candle from today is impressive but the longer we wait, the more likely the market shows it hand. Maybe I'm missing out on some gains, but I think a retest of 4200 in the coming weeks (or even days) is more likely than 6000.

Buy contracts that have the longest time till expire such as september on bitmex. Only use 2x leverage. If we move up to 20,000 you would turn .1 btc into 1.2 btc. But im sure you know that we wont get there that quickly just sell that contract and buy one that comes out for a later date. Before september contract expires im sure well already have a january one you can buy into and open up the 2x leverage all over again.

Bitcoin isn’t going up anytime before the next financial crisis. There’s no new money coming in, and when boomers are panicking trying to save their funds, they’ll be buying dollars and precious metals, not crypto.

You do realise the only reason we pumped was because the bitmex nigger manipulated the exchange with his cartel right? All other exchanges had virtually zero volume compared to it.
Meaning building up shorts now is like feeding the big fish, he will just push the price up again. It needs to have a lot of longs but it won't happen since most people are still in denial phase.

You know whats better then drawing lines on a graph to figure out where btc is headed next? its getting a gut feeling of the overall sentiment of the market.
This past month bears have been in maximum greed mode. They believed that price was always going to go down and that their shorts were always going to make them money. Pure greed and nothing else. Its like the delusional bull fags when btc was at 20k and they were still loading their bags thinking it was going to hit 50k.

Thats how you know this market is bottomed out. Bear fags in total greed and delusion. BTC has bottomed out and I know it has, not because of any lines I drew on a chart but because of my gut feeling that has never been wrong.

Different ID. If we follow past trends, this weekly candle will close at the neckline of that ascending triangle (~$4200). Would look clean if that happens this week, otherwise I suppose it could close next week or the week after (that way the Monthly bars wont show price closing above $4200, only a wick).

IF the candle closes at $4200 next week, my guess would be 1.5-2 months of sideways before we break the blue ascending triangle.

Lets first observe how this candle closes before jumping to any conclusions.

Wrong. You don’t understand that only the steward of the coins has control over the sale. If you look at what the ceo guy was saying on reddit, it’s extremely likely he’ll decide to unilaterally sell the coins regardless of what creditors say, since he views keeping them in cold storage as an intolerable risk
