>born into poverty, homeless got 16-18
>not a retard do work hard at school, graduate valedictorian (I'm definitely way above average but got there through pure hard work and dedication)
>go to exceptional uni, do a few internships
>2 offers for high paying jobs from internships, never even applied to a job
>turning them down to do PhD though

Explain how the fuck is the world meant to be hard. Growing up homeless or being abused, THAT was hard. I'm sure growing up in Africa or something is even worse. Literally all you have to do to be successful is put in the slightest bit of effort and not be retarded, but mainly effort. I see so many people complaining about it, but every single time they never bothered in school, never bothered getting internships, never tried leaving after getting stuck in dead end crap and blow all their money.

You had hard work forced into you because you had no real other choice.

instantly realised my country is full of grumpy authoritarian socialist sociopaths
got more job offers and connections in 3 weeks of america as a tourist than 25 years of life at home
also made me realise the muh privilege retards hit close to something real even if for the wrong reasons
it's not about being born with white skin and a penis, it's a question of atmosphere
in france you're destined to be an university faggot then corporatecuck, it's all doom and gloom and even thinking of investing in the stock market or of building your own business without sucking the government's tit at every step gets you looked at as a loonie
americans have a much greater culture of self-reliance and optimism, the negative faggots in here are contrarians rather than the norm
the only reason more yuropoors don't realise this is because the brainwashing is so efficient, 90%+ of the population embraces mediocrity by their twenties. european countries have mastered killing off hopes and dreams in their brightest from a young age

You may not feel smart but I promise you that you are top 10% if it seemed straightforward to you. The system is designed to trap the bottom ~70% in place. Upwards mobility is reserved for those who are exceptional (ruthless, lucky, dedicated or clever).

Yes it is easy to get a good life in the USA if you are smart.

there's no homelessness in EU except volontary or legit insane. that's the crux of the difference between US and EU: EU nurtures their losers and bottomfeeders, while US gives leeway for top performers to excel
there's no "valedictorian" stuff either btw
if you produce nothing of value and have sociopathic tendencies, yes, you're unironically better off as an european. until it all collapses
it's very obvious you're american, middle-class, and have never lived in europe yourself (probably never even been)
your attitude is stereotypical lazy burger, and the only challenge americans face: you are surrounded by so much prosperity from a young age it's very easy to fall in a consumerist trap, and the state doesn't hold your hand to unfuck you once you've fucked your life thoroughly with your own bad choices

Some people are just lazy and beyond help. I used have a friend who was so lazy that he bragged about his laziness. He slacked off frequently in school. His idol was a fellow student who rebelled against the authority of teachers. In his own bizarre view, he saw his attitude as some sort virtue. He obviously had a problem with authority. Ironically, he himself had a dominating attitude towards people who were nice to him. He never had a plan for his own future, not a realistic one anyways. He had thought of making it big through making video games. It didn't pan out for obvious reasons. However even that failure didn't give him a reality check. He insisted on only making money online and not any other way. He was a completely inflexible person. Don't know if he had changed now.

Heh, you’re still young. All you have had are easy and enjoyable life experiences. Being a child is easy, and fun. Wait until you get into the real world and are there for 10+ years and see how you feel about all your “hard work”. And, hint: if you’re still happy wage slaving, you’re an NPC. And if you still believe “hard work” got you to where you are and not a pre-determined set of events set in motion long before you even existed, you’re an NPC. Stay in college as long as you can, buddy. It doesn’t get better.

I work with a guy who was homeless for 10 years and works the same shit job I do. It's by no means difficult, but most things like your high paying job offers are luck based. Nobody gets to choose at what point in time they're born and get to try to enter the workforce, but EVERYONE can choose how to react and adapt to life and that seems to be where your strongsuit is.

You beat poverty, congratz it's a great thing. But many people lack the mental fortitude to do anything other than work a 9-5, personally my motivator is my sheer hatred of fat, stupid people that pushes me to be better.
