Make no mistake, I actually support the general idea of GAB and Dissenter or anything else that can serve as a hedge against censorship, but this recent stunt of theirs is completely unproductive-and the fact it was literally done "out of spite" because GAB thinks Brave should use BTC exclusively and specifically is pretty pathetic.

It'll take off on Twitch eventually. There's makeshift software that allows Twitch donations through BAT and includes notifications, but nothing official yet.

Once that official SDK comes out and people can donate their BAT through Twitch with notifications, like a superior form of Twitch bits (Twitch bits was an absolute failure though but you could tell they were trying for a cryptocurrency-sort of thing), then BAT will start to catch on.

TFUE already uses Brave browser - streamers will start to notice BAT and get involved, especially if it gains considerable value/media coverage in the next year.
