13661505 No.13661505 [Reply] [Original]

Think of the way that Bitcoin just moved and now it’s just hanging out near $8k, like it wasn’t just $4,963 a month ago. Now that alt season has started, we could see Ethereum make a really big move now too. I know most shitcoins will, but I think it’s different for ETH. ETH is widely known in the NPC community, especially in the Wall Street fag circles. I thinks it’s just already accepted that ETH will get everything that Bitcoin does when it comes to governmental acceptance and institutional buying.

We can see major FOMO because of the way that Bitcoin has moved. That’s why I’m now all in ETH. We could be looking at $500 next week because these regulars will just fomo right, they just fire up that desktop and login to Coinbase and hit the buy button.

Also all the doubters that were on the edge before, maybe they sold and didn’t have the balls to hold long last year will be back for more because they don’t want to miss out. I think they will gravitate more towards ETH because they think Bitcoin has already made its move but ETH hasn’t.

I hear that all the time “hurr durr no more ICOs”

Now most of those projects that were ICOs are actually using ETH in different ways! Don’t you see? The “muh ICOs” FUD is a meme!

pretty much all the FUD about ETH are memes only
the problem is, we live in clownworld
BTC can pump to $8k while having the same fundamental issues it had 2 years ago, but ETH could power $1 billion worth of games and defi (not too far from that already, actually) and price wouldn't move one bit
only ETH 2.0, which is a meme itself at least in the sense it won't be functional for a decade while ETH 1.x is where the magic happens, will make it pump

You can sell for both on most exchanges. Mete mask is a wallet, not an exchange though. In general, you shouldn't keep your coins on exchanges because of security/hacking risk.

use a dex and trade for a stable coin onchain.

use dexindex.io to find the best price, then use meta mask to trade.

you can trade directly from your wallet to a stable coin without using an exchange. If you want exposure to BTC check out WBTC lets you purchase BTC on ETH chain.

I don't think a hardware wallet is worth it unless you have at least 5 figures in crypto. Just be careful where you store your crypto.. Especially if it's on a small exchange. Just look at all the hacks over the past couple of years.

For those using Bitmex, I have a question. Not sure if it is because of fees or because I have not understood something, but with 0.04 btc and leverage 50x I can have a 15000$ XBTUSD position but only a 8000$ ETHUSD position.

Why ? I'd prefer to go all in ETHUSD but it's almost twice more expensive
