Wait until about the end of the first week of August, then BUY Bitcoin
Or, if BTC gets anywhere close to $5k or $5.5k before that time, buy the fuck out of it and put money in until you have at least one Bitcoin

You can buy crypto the easiest way through coinbase, but if you want to avoid their horrendous fees they charge on the consumer frontend, just get verified with coinbase and you can automatically sign in to coinbase pro, where buy/sell fees are your typical .025% for crypto exchanges

Can you use EUR/USD in coinbase without buying coin first? That's nice information.

Don't listen to the bitcoin fanboys. In truth, there is too much risk, and no real reason to believe that crypto is going up.

Buy into a broadly diversified global stock portfolio, through an ETF preferably. Decide how much risk/return you want and your investment horizon and choose your ETF accordingly. Diversification is key, it is the only way to avoid unneccesary risks.

>I'm a dumb early 20's wagie that wants to make my money work for me.
Then stay the fuck away from crypto until you have money you can afford to lose gambling.
> I have 0 clue about anything related to /biz/.
/biz is the blind leading the blind, off the cliff. Anyone who had a clue (or money) left a long time ago.
>I've got like 5k I could lose without ruining my life.
Putting it into crypto is like throwing it into the toilet.
>Please advise.
Start reading - not here, in real investment circles. Start reading investment forums, and websites. Use investopia for things you don't understand. Set up a fake money account at Morningstar, and watch what happens to your ideas, over a year's time. If you have to throw your money away on crypto, then set up a fake money account at Bitmex and try out some trades, with no risk. Don't put a dime into anything - including crypto, for at least a year.
In the meantime, put your 5k into a CD or some sort of interest bearing investment for a year, while you learn. It's not enough to really make a dent, anyway, but why lose it, when you don't know what the fuck you're doing?
And, stop asking the internet for advice. Spending someone else's money is easy, and the autists and degenerate gamblers here will always give you the worst advice. They're here, because they're fuck ups. The only reason you should listen to me is I'm telling you not to invest at all until you learn the basics. Even then, it's a risk, but you'll be in a better position to make your own bets, and not take the advice of some neet or poo who can't scrape $50 together.

well it's more like gambling in a casino. You can win big if you get lucky. When you throw your money into the toilet the only one that wins is your town sewer-jew.

Gambling at the casino is no different, degenerate.

>> No.14062093

That's what I'm saying. Crypto is a gamble, you can win and you can lose, no way to know before hand, only that the chance you'll lose is slightly greater.

Throwing money in the toilet on the other hand has no potential upside.

Buying crypto right now is like burning your money. Dont listen to the fanboys here, this is not a good moment

>> No.14062345

>>14062203
The point is that you're exaggerating by saying it's just like flushing money down the toilet, just like the crypto fanboys are when they say crypto is certain to go up. Truth is it's a gamble, and whether you want to gamble with your money is a matter of preference. If you're risk seeking and care more about hitting the jackpot than you care about losing your money, it may very well be rational to invest in crypto.

22 y/o here. invested in crypto when i was 20. invested 2k usd turned it into 40k usd. now started a staking as a service company after learning to code for the last 9 months and based on current status looking at 50k usd per year for basically sitting around and playing league of legends. that 50k increases exponentially with coin price. once i start my wagecuck job i will have an easy 50k+ side income on top of my salary
