The fact is that bitcoin literally has no use case atm and is used by nobody except people who are moving money around in networks that are trying to avoid capital control regulations/laws.

or by speculators hoping to dump it on someone for more in the future.

The Libertarian fucken dream meme of how we need to be able to have the freedom and privacy to transfer value to and from and where the fuck we please without government intervention.

No system is perfect, we have fucken laws for a reason.

If bitcoin truly succeeded in providing people the freedom and power to transfer value and engage without any oversight or ability for government intervention.

As a whole for society this would be a net negative effect.

Think about the big picture.

Some ppl break the laws and get away with it, others may abuse their power to take advantage and bitcoin is going to solve that how?

You think this is the first era in mankind that faced corruption?

It's just a part of life, there will always be those who try to cut corners.

So what the fuck is bitcoin's purpose if it's not for the libertarian meme.

What is the narrative? Why the fuck does society need this?

The code is being worked on and it's constantly changing, sidechains/hard-forks all sorts of nonsense.

Will it even fucken work?

Email gave us the ability to send txt to each other in a superior way to previous technology.

What is bitcoin superior in?

It's the first global currency not issued by any specific government and it allows you to circumvent the (((banks))).
You can literally store $10,000,000 worth of bitcoin in your brain and give it to someone just by talking to them.

Hedge against inflation. The only crimes committed with bitcoin are ones that enable free trade and imo is a good thing.

>we have rules and laws for a reason
yea. it's because people don't actually want to be free. they say they do but they really don't. maybe only a small portion actually know what freedom means and want it. the rest just want the world managed by a central authority.

but all this came to be because of monetary based systems. people want to own stuff and the people that own more stuff than others can't enjoy their stuff if they have to guard it 24/7. so the need for a central authority was born. that's really all police are. private security guards for the state.

t. doesn't understand banking

You know those funds in 'your' bank account, aren't yours, its the banks. Bitcoin let people be their own bank.
Just listen to the Jews OP, what could go wrong

Woah you sure changed my mind with these hot takes.

BTC is apolitical. It has no agenda. Just because pie-in-the-sky lolberts let their galaxy brain cloud their judgement doesn't mean a much more vast array of people determine it is valuable.

>What is bitcoin superior in?
It's significantly more liquid than gold and has more potential as a SOV. It can be transferred thousands of times quicker than traditional assets. It cuts out the middleman of institutions like central banks which makes it more efficient. How is this still a question? It isn't 2012 anymore faggot.

I can think of a few use cases for bitcoin. That doesn't mean im completely sold on it. But allow me to play devil advocate. Bitcoin is a great way to send small or large amounts of money from person to person without large fees or the use of financial institutions. This is very helpful for 1. criminals. Criminals should not be overlooked because they play somewhat large role in our financial ecosystem. But Second and more importantly, bitcoin could be huge for people without access to big banks. Im specifically thinking about people who live in 3rd world countries. They may not have acess to credit cards and debit cards but bitcoin allows them to send money for peer to peer or person to business. Think of things like online shopping, paying back small amounts of debt, or sending money to family or friends who are far away.

As far as first world country are concerned. Bitcoin is still a great way to circumvent the use of banks. for better or for worse there are many people who are afraid of banks or for whatever reason dont want to use them
>inb4 criminals
Bitcoin is superior because it allows regular people to take away control from banks. If the fed ever tanks bitcoin will most likley rein supreme.
