Unlike (probably) most of you here i actually knew about bitcoin back then. But it was different. There were no exchanges, nobody wanted it and i dismissed it as fucking spyware. You had to install an executable "wallet" and leave it to generate "coins"? Blockchains wtf are those. All we had was e-gold and liberty reserve and we were doing just fine.

I was involved with some bad shit back then so my paranoia was intense. I literally boot nuked my hard drives every week. I didn't go outside much. I used to peek out behind the curtains to see if any weird vans were parked outside. One day there was. A guy with a fucking satellite looking thing in his hand pointed at my window. I moved shortly after. Eventually i just quit the bad things as i realized i didn't have the psycho personality to pull it off. It was eating me inside... had a shit ton of money back then. I am 35 now and a regular wageslave... literally failed at life
