Would like to study something, develop myself, start doing something productive in life to make life better for me and my future family. I am hard working kind of a guy. I hate to do nothing. That feel when after a raise and second promotion I earn what I earn... I lack direction in my life - that's my problem. How the fuck do you survive in Hongcouver at 65k/annum?

>> No.1586689

Guys, I don't know where else to ask this, so I'm going to throw it here.

I have a totally, 100% free ride through undergraduate school, and I have $80,000 to use for graduate school.
The only catch is that it has to be used in an Indiana public state-sponsored school.

What do?
I've already decided on my BS being in Informatics, so I'm trying to decide on graduate school. I do not feel I am smart enough for medicine or science, so I've ruled those out.
Here are some things I've considered:

>JD (Lawyer)
>MHA, Master's of Health Administration
>PHD in Social Work
>MBA (I don't really want to do this one though)

What do, /biz/?
I don't give a shit about what I do, I just care for my own quality of life. I'm looking to earn 60 to 80k annually.

This is not a troll, I honestly don't know what to do. I'm thinking law school makes the most sense, but I don't actually want to practice law. I am not naturally an argumentative or competitive person. Do you guys think Law is expansive enough that I can get a desk job and still push 60k?

Currently a retail zombie, and am in an associate's degree program delivered in online format. I will transfer to my local university next year. I am motivated, as I am sick of working around low-IQ people and being treated like shit by niggers

Ignrore MHA that shit is retarded...

Becoming a LCSW is great, and won't be appreciated by this board... You can get a super kush govt job with that, and make low six figures with premium retirement.

It is cheap and easy too, or spend more money and work a lot harder to get your law degree, and earn 1/2 the money.

Yeah, the good news is if you put your resume on dice, chances are you'll qualify for something with extremely high pay immediately. Also... Florida DOES have a lower living expense than where my bro lives, san francisco. He's paying 2k a month for rent. Android and iOS jobs pay a bunch, because high demand and low supply of developers. Seems like a good enough thread to ask this. Is loving what you do an absolute meme? It seems like there's a goldmine in network security jobs, I don't really love programming but is it worth doing just for the money?

Pretty dead end job.
I just want to play DOTA on my off days and not have to deal with computers and stupid users anymore ever again.

What do? Skilled trade? Are there skilled trade programs that are future-proof/deal with high-tech?

I guess because carpentry is the first thing that comes to mind for any normie when they hear the words "skilled trade = big bucks" and therefore apply.

Trades in ON are alright provided you live in the countryside. In the city they screw you for pay, make you take stupid courses and you have to deal with retarded immigrants who don't speak english. Out in the country contractors will hire anyone who can prove they are at least half competent.
