Price = supply & demand.
2017 demand was driven by what looked like guaranteed ICO profits for anyone who bought ethereum and use it for trash projects.
Its ATH price nearly reflects global adoption. Don't expect a x25 or something crazy.
Besides, BTC was pumped with USDT at that time to prevent a flippening, and ETH fans were also BTC holders so ETH's USD valuation also benefited from that.
2020-2021 will have the benefit of decreased supply, but the demand will NOT match that of 2017. Personally, I'd sell at around $700.
