Yo, I've started flipping electronics.

What shit can I buy besides laptops that normies will overspend on?

Any suggestion helps anon

Electronics are the worst to flip. Margins are low and when you buy something it may be in working order but only for a short time, which can work out for you as a seller.

>> No.16406927

how can i do this too? arbitrage has always interested me but it seems totally unapproachable.

There's got to be SOME electronics people are willing to overpay for.... Do solar panels count as electronics? I guarantee people will overpay for that shit over the coming years

In high school I used to do iPhones. The margins have shrunk drastically now though. Back then I could get a cracked 4S on Craigslist for around $60, buy and install a $20 screen, then sell for $380-440 depending on specs. As others have said the margins are low. I’ve heard that the best route is to find items that are sold out/hard to find on amazon then buy them in brick/mortar stores to sell there. I saw a video where a guy discovered a certain version of Monopoly was a hot commodity on Amazon. Since brick and mortars are required to keep x amount in stores, he drove through 4 different states buying as many as he could at each Walmart. If I remember correctly he had sold them all before even making it home and had made a few grand.

I want to keep an eye on sneakers. Definitely see that there's value in that. Idk where to start cause it's not my world but definitely worth while.

This is so true, I got a lot of crack heads in my city, those fuckers stole my headphones last semester. The issue is crackheads will steal ANYTHING so should I be worried about buying anything used?

how do you figure out what's profitable though? i guess thats why not many people do it. it sounds like that guy learned about monopoly by chance.

i tried watching a few videos about arbitrage and i only got the basics, which everyone already knows.

Solar panels have been done already. You're ~10 years too late to profit from a boom. Margins are razor thin even for producers, if you're reselling them and not offering engineering services like planning and building the systems, you won't make money.

>> No.16407051

I think a lot of people make it sound easier than it is because they leave out the "time" component.

"Arbitrage" is not a difficult concept, what's difficult is constantly grinding through items, constantly looking for deals, constantly looking for worthwhile disparities, constantly asking anons for advice on forums, and still coming up with nothing most the time.

People get lucky but the more I learn about this shit the more I see that it's a 90% hustle.

only niche markets are profitable. everything mainstream is shit. also forget about electronics. there is no money to be made / not worth your time
obviously nobody will tell you which niche market since who wants even more competitors?

If you’re going to sell replicas, go ahead and advertise them as replicas and go for high quality reps over the cheap shit that wouldn’t fool anyone. The flea markets, Instagram, and Chinese apps already have the jump on you.
If you advertise replicas as real you’ll get busted pretty quickly if you’re a noob with no connections. Word in the community travels quickly, and that’s the least of your worries. You can eat some serious fines, have your products seized by customs, and the list goes on. If you’re a burger, then it’s that much more riskier for you.

>t. Authentic reseller that’s been in the game for almost 3 years.
Ive Watched so many good rep sellers fall in that short time.
