Let me get this straight. Holo ports have been delivered but the users won't earn anything until "Beta". They expect users to use their own money for a holoport then help debug for a year without compensation. Why is anyone doing this?

Once Beta is released so is the holo operating software. Users are going to put the holo software on servers, AWS, etc. This will create a completely centralized system, which defeats the purpose for holochain. What am I missing? Seems like pure vapor ware.

Why would holochain care though, they made a pile of cash off selling obsolete hardware.

Am I wrong?

Everybody who bought a holoport in the Indiegogo already knew that they wouldn't earn holofuel until the software was completed. They explicitely made it clear that the software was still under development.
