SOXL is the answer. Face it. Semiconductors are crack in all but name. The desire for newer, faster, more is insatiable. Computers, GPUs, self-driving electric cars, AI enhanced smartphones, medical devices, microcontrollers, networkinging gear, machine learning, surveillance, infrastructure, military, the list is endless. No matter how many cores, how fast or efficient, demand requires bigger, faster, cheaper, better. The clamor for fresh silicon gives nary shit for national identity, creed, hue, gender, asshole virginity or other vain conceit; the multitude speaks in singular. The plea: semiconductor.
SOXL couples a single ETF entry point with the the best companies the space has to offer then pushes these already stellar returns to the limit with 3x leverage. With SOXL your economic interests are aligned with powerhouses Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Broadcom, Micron, Texas Instruments, Applied Materials, et al. Real tech companies with innovative products people want, not """tech""" """companies""" pushing shitty ads. And like all leveraged ETFs, SOXL is rebalanced daily, deftly mitigating margin risks.
In the last 7 years, SOXL has exploded over 55x yet still we are early. Semiconductor growth will proceed exponentially until every viable space is saturated with it. This is a fait accompli; the sheer number of interested parties and obviously compelling outcomes make it so. The injection of increasingly compact and efficient sensors, microcontrollers, information processing and storage into everywhere and everything will be this era's seminal revolution, a revolution with SOXL holders planted firmly at the receiving end.
Stop waiting for the "pullback". Where we're going, fretting over a few dollars is meaningless. The deliberation is over; waiting is a failure mode. Now. Buy it now.

The market's been going up since 2009 and yes it will continue
Central Bank of Japan printed 150% of GDP in the last 10 years,
Japan government debt close to 300% yet they are still close to zero inflation and they say they have a lot room to ease
Switzerland printed 100%+ of their GDP in the last 10 years, imposed negative rates of -0.8% and their currency just got stronger
What makes anybone believe that the Fed which prints US$ - the world reserve currency cannot get to those numbers?
Current balance sheet is just 25% of GDP but because the US$ is a reserve currency they can probably sustain 100% of the world GDP which I believe is around 80 trln
Yes it seems crazy but get back 10 years ago and think about what we have now - it seemed totally crazy that central bank will monetize federal debt
So in our lifetime this charade can easily be sustained
They will just print 1 trln per year maybe increasing this number 10% per year. It will get stocks 10-20% per year growth on average indefinitely

>isn't margin how one winds up owing thousands of dollars on bad trades?
The only way that happens is if you're in something and it gaps some ridiculous amount on you. This is a very unlikely scenario and even more unlikely if you take a little care. Think of actually owing as something not to worry about. As far as using leverage in futures, it's just like anywhere else you only use as much as you want and you don't have to use any if you don't want to. The issue with futures is the minimum notional value of a contract dictates that with a small account you basically have to use leverage.
The Russell 2000 micro is the smallest index contract you can buy and a single one is worth $8375 at this very moment. So if you have $8375 in your account and you buy just one contract then you aren't using any leverage. If you have less than that, well, obviously you are using leverage. So if you're worried just have at least that much to start with. And if you're comfortable with 3x like with the ETFs, you need $2791.67 when you buy 1 micro russell. It's not that big a deal, just have an amount in the account to meet the leverage multiple you want. I started back in the day with only $600 and I never blew up my account. I was just very careful and slowly ground up until I had lots of money to work with. Now I trade with 30 or 40 contracts at a time without even thinking about it and I manage my leverage so I never get in trouble. People who blow up their accounts are the people in 30 or 40x positions that go against them. Just don't do that.

>Recommended babby first future? Not aksing for a spoon-feeding, just guidance on a safe play. I wouldn't want to risk more than $100 on my first dozen or so trades.
Hm, everybody trades differently but most strategies boil down to either going with the trend or trading a reversion after a pullback from the trend. I've always preferred the latter since it seems to suit my personality better and I have good success with it.
When dealing with leverage if you want to play it safely you want to find an instrument with a low notional value and isn't likely to move to fast on you. Treasuries and currencies are perfect for this but I don't trade those so I'll direct your attention to the micro Russell 2000 index. If you only want to risk $100, that's easy. Just place a stop $100 away from your entry. The micro russell has a value of 50 cents per tick and each tick is 1/10 of a point. Say you buy one contract at 1670.0 your stop would be set 200 ticks below that so 1650.0
A decent babby's first mean reversion strategy is to find horizontal lines of support as underlined in pic related. When the price dumps beneath that support line, by roughly the amount indicated by the arrow on there you buy. Your target sell is when the price gets back to that support line which will often act as resistance. The market is trending up right now so the probability of this strategy succeeding is very high and the support resistance areas are easy to spot. So fund your account, look for support on the micro russell 2000, when it dips buy a contract, set your stop 200 ticks below that and set your sell for when the price gets back to that support (now the resistance). Remember this is babby's first index futures strategy and yes it is simplistic but it should help get you started.
Good luck

Console release is going to be a huge help to NVDA. A lot is not priced in yet.

Console next gen will push graphics of PC games up too due to everything being multiplat

I expect even PC gamers to upgrade at higher rates than expected in 2H 2020 right into the launch of 30XX series cards, which will push demand up on their own. Lots of people skipped RTX 20XX series because of no node jump. They didn't drop prices because they are thinking long term and want to condition consumer, NVDA hates dropping retail price. I expect 30XX to have a better starting price.

Also, ML/AI is going to be the same, with lots of buying of 7nm ampere cards for it. NVDA is going to blow out expectations most likely.

Who knows though.

Regardless, I am the one who brought it up. So you bitching about what I bring up more is pretty irrelevant, as you'd know about neither if it weren't for me. Buy SNSS

>Why is China down?

Their economy is a dead-end, making plastic crap that could be made in Bangladesh or durkadurkastan just as easily.
We (the US economy) are busy playing god; solving transportation, inventing meat, and planning space travel. And the decade has just begun.
The ONLY dynamic and growing part of the Chinese economy are phone games where they pay for pictures of anime girls. Meanwhile their banks are all going to hell.

Is this a meme or bait? Their tech sector is expanding rapidly. The US is desperately trying to stop the spread of Huawei phones, TikTok is taking over Zoomer media, and Alibaba is going to keep growing

That's contextfree trading. Will almost always fail.
It's a sample too which means that it doesn't "prove" anything. Not that I care about the terminology here buy you always use "prove" when you post this...ergo...

This but I'd like to point out China's banks are almost completely under control of the government. It's part of the Ponzi scheme that is their economy and why you won't see a credit crisis there unless it is denominated in USD

China will have a recession of their own soon enough and their banks are doing worse and worse for every passing year now. It's just a matter of time before things start blowing up.

Trump will have that, kek'd. Look at 2019, the back and forth non-outcome trade talks are golden for the market.
