anons I'm extremely new to stocks, and I also only have 10$ in schwab to invest with, are there any short term stocks that you anons recommend?
I want to be able to invest long term later.

Also any tips on how to correctly research up on stocks?
what are the best places?
How do I avoid the hype?

Whatever stock you buy, you look into the company. Revenue, Earnings, Development over the last year, News, etc.
Once you think a company is underrated or will go up in the future, you buy their stocks.
The most important one is often News/Hype.

Some bad news can drop the stock to new lows, then one good earnings report can blow up the stock 50%.

Fcel screwed me all year, ended up not trusting it and here it moonshotted. If I would’ve just held believing in the company for reasons why I invested or I guess tried to trade it in the first place, I would of made a big stack. You should do some heavy research yourself but I think it is. They have received an extension for compliance, so they proved a good reason. It’s something to pay attention to if you’re investing and need to watch if we raise enough to regain compliance to stay in NASDAQ in time, if not I’m going to pull my investment before it happens and drops to OTCQX.

i thought that amd and nvidias huge run was due to everyone buying video cards to mine crypto, what has caused them to not only maintain that stock price, but also for it to go up further?

If I recall, AMD is stealing marketshare from nvidia and intel specifically, with stuff like google stadia rumors and whatnot. Usually that's not a big deal - marketshare is exchanged all the time. But AMD was a significantly smaller player than either nvda or intel at the time and is now starting to actually grow as a corporation. Also Lisa Su memes.

I've been fiddling with a few different ideas lately.
I'm currently renting at around 1000€/month. I'd love to get out of this situation as quickly as possible, of course. I have a decent property but in another country which is worth around 100-120000€. It's currently rented and that brings very little money, around 325€/month. Would you

a) get a mortgage, pay around the same 1000€/month. Interest on a 350000€ property is around 52.000€ in the span of 30/years. At the same time, sell the aforementioned property, invest it in stonks (I currently get around 20-30% yearly) and pay off the mortgage once it hits the target profit all at once.

b) keep renting, sell property, invest it and buy a new home with cash once it reaches target profit.

I have thought about this as well with compounding it seems like a good way to grow your investments but it sounds too simple to work. I feel like more people would do it if it's that easy.

Poorfag question: if you had $200 to $400 at most to invest each month, what would you buy? This is how I survive on a shit 27k a year salary: Location, luck, not living beyond my means (aka keeping the debt low as possible). Also my Wife works as well. No car payments,No student loans just the house payment. By striking during the housing shit fest and hanging some damning piss poor reno attempts over there heads (they tried to redo the basement electrical themselves). The cars: 2014 Toyota corolla (mine), A Chevy Malibu (hers). I work just 8 miles from home in a smallish city. Got a nice 65" samsung tv in the living room along with a gas fireplace and two couches and a coffee table. Kinda large living room at that. I sit maybe 8-12 ft from the TV.

Yeah ok so here's a calculated real world example. GPC is about 100 dollars per share right now. The farthest out of the money I can purchase on the options chain (at least according to this calculator) is 135, so I've bought 10 contracts at 0.15 cents per share (15 dollars per contract) with a strike price in may.

So you can see if the price jumps up even like 10 percent within a month, you double your money. If it jumps 20 percent, you could walk away with thousands in profit. But that's not very likely, is it? Any historic volatility will be priced into the contracts, and GPC is cheap because it usually doesn't move that much.

Dumped almost all my savings into AMRN, 872 shares @ 17.77. Ended up making almost 4000 when I sold. Turned around and bought 12110 shares of ONTX and dumped 12,000 back into my bank. Now no mater what, say ONTX hits $1, 2, 4, 10,etc I'm gonna come out good on the deal. At 8 a share I'd hit 96,880 for example. Which with all the upcoming things pending for them won't be much of a stretch to pull off. A bit of good news and these things tend to fly. Hell the target price is listed at 13 as the high and the 52w high is 4.5. So now I sit and wait for the good news to fall.

I've no set amount. They use a formula. Average of 5 years salary, divided by months worked, times 12. First part. Second part is what they call benefit factor. Mine would be 1.97%. Third part is the number of years time.
So it goes like this Salary average x 1.97% x 27 yrs. Then they got little loopholes I can use. Sick time for example.
