This tbqh. Programming is a meme but you can easily save 500k by 30y/o by putting 2/3 of it into 401k/IRA/brokerage. Absolutely minimal risk but with a pretty good payoff and plenty of room to grow into senior/staff engineering positions or transition into engineering management.

Then once you reach that milestone you can look into other opportunities now that you have capital to invest (franchising, starting a business, renting out property, etc).

When I was 17 I scammed $4000 with fake bills, got caught, but they didn't take my money for some reason when they searched my home. No record thankfully(a lot of lucky coincidences as well which was really fucking weird like there was some angel looking out for me). Anyway I made $10k with IOTA moon when I was 18, then $45k ATH(briefly before the huge bear market) after a month or so. Then went slowly all in to LINK. Now I got $51k in LINK(19k linkies).
