I guess he gave up because he couldn't shill his ICO

the idea was file sharing on lightning using micro payments for verified files
he just wanted a shitty ico scam on top of it and got told no
max keiser and others invested up to 2.5m in the presale

It's not a bad idea and something I'm going to research further. It's just a shame why doesn't he just open source what he's been working on.

I'm thinking of a future where when people run their own lightning nodes
they can connect it to a home openmediavault and if someone wants their copy of a 4k movie or high quality recordings they can sell it for 1 cent over lightning
keep everything behind tor and people who maintain great vaults of media can be rewarded
