really? I mean I'm looking at the block explorer and from what I can tell addresses are publicly viewable (with amounts sent and received). Frankly I don't know anybody who actually uses Zcoin and there is hardly any info on the internet about their recent updates, and I also don't really care too much. So you will have to clarify on how the privacy is "nonoptional" if you can view addresses and what they spent and who they spent to.
It's also funny you are calling the project fagnero when your lead dev has gone out of his way to speak at Monero events and collab with the Monero lead devs.

your point is moot because Monero has the lowest inflation for the next twenty years. Lower than Bitcoin. And because of that, there will be significant upward pressure on Monero's price during the next bull run. For the real ones who understand scarcity and value, this is major bullish signal.
And once the .6 block reward is reached, the yearly low inflation will preserve the mining network and will replace lost coins. The sub 1% inflation is negligible. Hell, it's literally less than Gold's inflaiton.
