really? I mean I'm looking at the block explorer and from what I can tell addresses are publicly viewable (with amounts sent and received). Frankly I don't know anybody who actually uses Zcoin and there is hardly any info on the internet about their recent updates, and I also don't really care too much. So you will have to clarify on how the privacy is "nonoptional" if you can view addresses and what they spent and who they spent to.
It's also funny you are calling the project fagnero when your lead dev has gone out of his way to speak at Monero events and collab with the Monero lead devs.
zcash moving towards trustless setups and lelantus is good though, I'll give you that.

Property of a currency whereby two units can be substituted in place of one another.

Fungibility means that two units of a currency can be mutually substituted and the substituted currency is equal to another unit of the same size. For example, two $10 bills can be exchanged and they are functionally identical to any other $10 bill in circulation (although $10 bills have unique ID numbers and are therefore not completely fungible). Gold is probably a closer example of true fungibility, where any 1 oz. of gold of the same grade is worth the same as another 1 oz. of gold. Monero is fungible due to the nature of the currency which provides no way to link transactions together nor trace the history of any particular XMR. 1 XMR is functionally identical to any other 1 XMR.

your point is moot because Monero has the lowest inflation for the next twenty years. Lower than Bitcoin. And because of that, there will be significant upward pressure on Monero's price during the next bull run. For the real ones who understand scarcity and value, this is major bullish signal.
And once the .6 block reward is reached, the yearly low inflation will preserve the mining network and will replace lost coins. The sub 1% inflation is negligible. Hell, it's literally less than Gold's inflaiton.

implying that every government will ban monero. implying that every government would ban monero on the same day "worldwide". implying decentralized exchanges don't exist and aren't growing in popularity. implying crosschain atomic swaps won't exist in the ufture. implying the same FUD was said about bitcoin ten years ago. implying using Monero is illegal for people who are reporting their taxes.
>monerofags are pure cringe at this point.
you are shilling the plebbit shitcoin of choice, and you have a myopic view of how government bans work. Like, how are bittorent clients legal if they can be used for illegal means? Don't you realize that cash is used to purchase drugs on a massive scale but nobody thinks of the dollar like that?
