Banking. the fed just promised them infinite credit.

Imagine lending out so much money to shitty people who have maxed out their credit cards...and to make the payments, they take out more credit cards. Eventually, their credit runs out right?

Not so fast buster. We got infinite credit. Just keep lending. There is no way this leads to Venezuelan levels of hyperinflation.

The fed was never meant to manage the economy, only inflation and deflation. They are trying their best to protect boomer bucks now.

>The works of the roots of the vines, of the trees, must be destroyed to keep up the price, and this is the saddest, bitterest thing of all.
>Carloads of oranges dumped on the ground. The people came for miles to take the fruit, but this could not be. How would they buy oranges at twenty cents a dozen if they could drive out and pick them up?
>And men with hoses squirt kerosene on the oranges, and they are angry at the crime, angry at the people who have come to take the fruit. A million people hungry, needing the fruit- and kerosene sprayed over the golden mountains. And the smell of rot fills the country.
>Burn coffee for fuel in the ships. Burn corn to keep warm, it makes a hot fire. Dump potatoes in the rivers and place guards along the banks to keep the hungry people from fishing them out. Slaughter the pigs and bury them, and let the putrescence drip down into the earth.

>There is a crime here that goes beyond denunciation. There is a sorrow here that weeping cannot symbolize. There is a failure here that topples all our success.
>The fertile earth, the straight tree rows, the sturdy trunks, and the ripe fruit. And children dying of pellagra must die because a profit cannot be taken from an orange. And coroners must fill in the certificate -died of malnutrition- because the food must rot, must be forced to rot.
>The people come with nets to fish for potatoes in the river, and the guards hold them back; they come in rattling cars to get the dumped oranges, but the kerosene is sprayed.
>And they stand still and watch the potatoes float by, listen to the screaming pigs being killed in a ditch and covered with quick-lime, watch the mountains of oranges slop down to a putrefying ooze; and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath.
>In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage.

All agriculture in the world is run like this it's just that no one outside of the industry had any reason to notice until now. It is all about maintaining a market for the cartel that runs the industry and maximizing their profits within that market. We just suddenly lost a lot of buyers (restaurants and food service) so the boys in charge will destroy food en masse to keep the market and the price of these goods exactly what they want them to be. This is shortsighted because when the real food shortage eventually hits they will be the first people strung up on lampposts. Fuck commies too btw I advocate for the return of the gentleman farmer.

Well considering they have to keep cows knocked up to produce milk couldn't they just I dunno let the cows feed their babies with the milk? Maybe do that instead of taking the calves away as soon as they are born and pumping them full of antibiotics and giving them water to drink? Maybe stop inseminating the cows for a little while? Maybe stop killing all of the male calves at birth and invest in increasing head of cattle for a while? Or are farmers so fucking stupid that the cows literally run the farm and dictate what goes on, demanding that the farmers keep fisting jizz into their cunts and hooking them up to the milk machines.

>Really you both are just ignorant of the fact that if you don't milk the cow it will have serious problems?
False, the cows are chemically kept pseudopregnant in order to produce milk, just stop feeding them hormones and it's fine.

>actually depends on what you do in the hospital...elective procedures and the ERs are laying people off and cutting hours.

I work in the OR, and while in the short term we're pretty dead in terms of cases to do, once the ban on elective procedures lifts we're gonna be crazy busy from the backlog of elective things people are gonna want done. Plus it takes a while to train OR staff so I doubt most of us will be laid off at all

I'm as far right as they get, but commies don't understand that maintaining a stable food chain is as essential as a water and sewer system for a first works country.

The food supply is too important to let the"free market" wipe it out because production stops w it one bad quarter shuts the farm down and then there's nothing when demand goes back up

When commies criticize agricultural welfare, they're actually taking about the government mandated Monopoly farms that get to do whatever they want. They can't admit that though, because that's conceding that government is the problem.
