Anything anyone has in the bank that is foreign currency will be converted into pesos, and at a really shitty rate. Any debt will also be converted into pesos unless it's owed to a foreign nation then they don't want to declare war or whatever, they only want to fuck over their native population.

Basically they're appropriating wealth from their people. This has been done before so the wealthier class and politicians knew to store their wealth abroad. This will only effect the middle and emerging upper class.
