fill the trailer with nice, well maintained tools. make business cards and build a portfolio. ask clients to make recommendations or give testimonials. take pictures of your good work. when you can afford one good set of tools, invest money in a second set of tools, then hire someone you trust to go do the work, that's your first employee. make scheduled appointments and keep a regular set of predictable clientele on set dates and times to create income you can expect and plan around. work your way up to corporate clients and keep expanding your team.

my uncle had a landscaping business and he died a very, very wealthy man with a fortune in the millions. he started with humble beginnings and used his money to reinvest in his business. he was honest, hard working, and picked good clients.
