If no one else has said it yet, antibiotics will fuck your shit up. Also beware coffee, alcohol, sugar, and processed junk. You want more "good" bacteria than "bad" bacteria in your gut. You need to encourage the "good" bacteria growth by eating foods that they thrive off of, and avoid foods that "bad" bacteria thrive off of. This will help to adjust your gut bacteria towards being "healthier". Fermented foods such as sauerkraut and kimchi can help, and probiotics like greek yogurt and kefir milk are also beneficial.

TL;DR Stop eating/drinking garbage. Eat more vegetables/fiber. Get a head start with probiotics.

Just go low carb (50-90g a day). Keto isn't necessary. I lost 110lbs over 14 months without even trying by kicking out sugar and flour. for the first time in years i have no massive bloating, reflux, or intestine pain. going to start adding in wheat and dairy agian one at a time to see how i handle it. first thing you need to do is go on a restricted elimination diet, then add stuff slowly back in one at a time to see what is causing you the problems. try teh lime juice thing, i was having problems really right until i started doing that. i think it helped kill bad bacteria that was overgrown. oats would give me really bad intestine pain, i recommend cutting out grains and readding them to see how you tolerate it. red fatty meat like beef and pork is hard to digest, switch to cooked fish and poultry for a while.

eat only vegetables and meat for awhile, and maybe some starchy vegetables like squash or tubers for carbs.

if youre still having stomach problems, take out 1 of those 3 and do a process of elimination. vegetables tend to be tolerated better if they're lightly cooked. if youre doing good on those 3 start adding things back in slowly and if something fucks you up, that was probably your problem.

also chew your food properly. the more fucked up your stomach is the more you should probably chew your food. most people can scarf food down like its nothing and be fine but others need to chew more.

drink mostly water or things low in sugar/calories if you're trying to suss out what's fucking up your stomach. goes without saying alcohol fucks up most peoples stomachs too. if you're a coffee/tea drinker, limit coffee and tea if your eliminating shit from from your diet but overall things like tea probably aid digestion more than it hurts your digestion.

Holy fuck this. Don’t ever take those poison pills. Cipro almost crippled me because my reaction was so bad, only took ONE PILL. That was over five years ago and I’m sure my central nervous system was permanently damaged because every once in a while I’ll feel my skin burn and crawl or see shadows just like when I have having my reaction to it. Doxycycline didn’t have that effect on me but definitely made me feel like I was dying from the inside out. After my prescription was up I noticed tiny black dots all over at the base of my fingernails, took over a year for it to go away.
Avoid fluoroquinolone antibiotics unless it’s truly a life or death situation. These include Cipro, Factive, Levaquin, Avelox, Noroxin and Floxin. Avoid this shit like the fucking plague unless you want to give yourself peripheral neuropathy. It’s unbelievable that these are used so much, and the fucking Jews at the FDA even know about the damage they cause and don’t do jack shit about it. The worst part about all of it was that I never even had an infection... There are tons of horror stories out there on the effects of these drugs. I will tell you how I have healed myself from disbyosis 3 times already. One that lasted 2 years before I found a solution.

Step 1 - try different probiotics and vary the dosage until you find one that works
Step 2 - find the food that makes you the most stable. For me this is fiber from veggies, sugar acts the opposite way

I'm very poor so I only eat once or two in the day I'm from brazil so our diet consist on rice + beans and one or two piece of meat, sometimes it's chicken file and sometimes it's cow file thing bife, ooh also I eat up on that salad with tomato/onion and vinegar with salt.

Plenty of vegetables, plenty of water.

Non-processed meats. Gotta make your own dinners (or buy nice stuff if you can afford). Make roasts, use leftovers to make big sandwiches with gravy.

While you are ill, eat fermented foods. Kimchi is great, same with kombucha (easy to make your own bucha too).

A small amount of Apple cider vinegar in a cup of water first thing in the morning is also good. Don't eat for a couple hours afterward.

If you're really fucked up, get some decent pro-biotic until you have a kombucha culture going.

Plain oats are great carbs for your belly if you like the taste.

Sugar is bad, processed sugars are worse. Avoid until you feel better and then only in small amounts infrequently.
