When you invest your savings there are still 'savings'. Both terms are not mutually exclusive. A 'saving account' is a dumb bank account where you can store your savings and let the bank invest them and take the gains instead of you. It doesn't mean that if you don't put your savings in a 'saving' bank account and buy stocks instead it stops being savings.
I shouldn't be explaining that to the zoomers here and I don't know why I'm losing my time doing it anyway...
