Just as a general rule, only huge fucking brainlet retards think any cryptocurrency has ever mooned off of "fundamentals" or "token economics". At this point thinking that way is laughable.

the only reason any cryptocurrency (besides BTC) has ever mooned is
1) hype
2) marketing
3) trading bots/traders

I think they did an SKU pull on github the other day. We might get the "pay with BAT" button for paywalls and other items. No kyc required either apparently. I also heard that a ton of work has been done on the VPN and they hope to have it released soon. More utility coming to BAT

>It was not designed to be an investment.

Neither was Bitcoin, you fucking dumbass. It was designed to be a peer-to-peer electronic cash. Guess what? It ended up being one of the best investments ever.

Something doesn't have to be "designed to be an investment" for people to invest in it. And needledick Anons claiming that BAT is "not an investment" doesn't make it not an investment. Even the Brave/BAT team saying that BAT is not an investment doesn't make it not an investment. If someone "invests" in it, it's an investment. Your post is fucking retarded.

Also, see >>19412009 . Nothing in crypto matters - labels, fundamentals, etc. People are going to buy and trade what they perceive as valuable. There are like 15 cryptos in the top 20 marketcap that are vaporware shitcoins that are essentially worthless in utility. Doesn't mean shit as long as trading bots / whales can pump & dump them.

thing is BAT has such a unique selling point that even its meme potential might help me cash in on it one day. don't get me wrong, some of the ideas are cool but i just don't see how BAT is a viable alternative to cancerous adverts. first of all most normies don't give a shit about any of this and most nerds that even download Brave don't care enough to willingly opt in to ads. unless they somehow corner the market in terms of donating to contributors (which is unlikely because it's only selling point in this scenario is getting around exchange fees, which aren't even that big to begin with), i really don't see what the major selling point is.

even with the anonymous market info, that doesn't work. business want to know who their target market is, social media offers that in so much detail. idk, maybe tech censorship might make BAT more popular if more and more 'dissenting' voices are booted off of YouTube and such but honestly you might just be hoping BAT has some unknown utility which makes it more worthwhile

Well I have 1000 just from browsing so 10k is probably good for starters. 50k BAT is around $10k. I was buying ethereum in early 2016 and spent around $12k and pulled the plug on the ride up. Not enough to retire on. I don't think there are any lottery tickets left where you can spend $3k and retire. Maybe if you buy 100 tickets. With BAT there is the potential for a big payday with a 10k stack and 50k will probably retire you if BAT becomes a household name.

If Brave makes its way into mainstream society it will capture all 3 and at a level we havent seen before. It would be touted as "everything bitcoin was meant to be" by journalists and normies. Cryptocurrency that even grandma can and is using.

When VPN0 drops and people start using BAT for paywalls/online purchases which is happening soon it will start to click just a little bit more. When websites start switching to the publisher ad system and advertisers start to abandon fraud riddled google it will all make more sense. People love to get hyped about crypto coins "partnering" with fortune 500's and its usually nothing more than a POC. Brave might just become one of those fortune 500's. Im already starting to see people talk about coin partnerships with brave. Get a stack if you havent already.

you can tip in decimals, brainlet. That's why creators can choose the tip amounts on their banners

>BAT goes to $1, now you can tip:

>.5 BAT
>1 BAT

also I would gladly tip $1 BAT to creators, that would be fucking awesome, because I get BAT LITERALLY FOR FREE JUST FOR BROWSING THE INTERNET.
