i'm a massive brainlet and know next to nothing about crypto, but how do i actually go about in buying bitcoin?
do i just buy from my paypal somewhere? how do i know that my bitcoin is secure and whatever """bank""" that's holding it, isn't going to screw me over? Do i need my own bitcoin wallet, and if so how do i open one and how do i know that it is secure and no one will steal my massive amounts of btc?

Oh okay. I plan to take chunks out at any price from 100k up, say 3% every 3k up. If it reaches 200k the average would be like one big sell at 150k. Then when it crashes buy back in below 50k. Don't see the point of tether unless I'm moving money between exchanges
