You wont make anything on 57 BAT. This is the toll you pay for not having more. Those APY rates are also variable and are subject to change. Your $12 worth of BAT would earn $2.76 if those rates remained constant for a year. About $9 in COMP if the price is still the same a year from now. You would then have to pay fees to open and close the contract and move it all around. Overall you would be looking at maybe $5 if nothing changed for an entire year. I think it has maybe a week or two left of being extremely lucrative.

Overall I think it's a good idea to go extremely long on BAT and just start collecting interest on it from multiple places. Sell it back to advertisers in a few years so you can take your yacht to adweek in monaco.

You earn less. Basically what happens is you end up paying heavy transaction costs up front and if you remove it too soon the transaction fees eat all your profit. You have to consider whether it's even worth your time and money to open up such a small contract. For me I have thousands of dollars in a contract so I'm earning hundreds of dollars each week for as long as it lasts or some security risk wipes it all out which is hopefully not a thing, but is a possibility.
